I do not recommend this provider. My experience was extremely disappointing both in quality of care and in billing practices. The sessions I attended were not what I would consider meaningful therapy — they mostly consisted of the provider sharing personal anecdotes rather than offering structured guidance, strategies, or evidence-based techniques. I left each session feeling like very little actual therapeutic work had been done. The situation became far worse when I received bills for hundreds of dollars despite my insurance confirming that my only responsibility was a $15 copay, which I had already paid. The insurance company put this in writing and even reminded the provider that balance billing members is not permitted under their contract. Despite this, the provider continued to send me threatening bills and recently warned that my account would be sent to collections unless I “settled” by a certain date. This ongoing harassment has caused significant stress and anxiety, and… it’s completely inappropriate given the nature of the billing error — which was the provider’s responsibility to correct. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this provider for either the quality of therapy or the professionalism of their billing practices.
