Dr. Riddhi Sunilbhai Shah, MD

My parents are in their seventies and both have the misfortune of having Dr. Shah for primary care (for now). One of them asked her for help with depression. Did she offer a referral or meds, as is common practice? No. She said "Depressed!? You?!" and ignored the request for help. She does not diagnose sicknesses, even when the symptoms are very clear. She is not reachable by any means most of the time. She does not call in prescriptions unless you call and ask more than four times. The number of times we have had to threaten legal action just to get a vital medication refill is unacceptable. Is she the worst doctor in Connecticut? I don't know but in my opinion she belongs on the short list.

I came to Dr. Riddhi Shah when my old doctor retired. I Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Shah. She is professional, smart, supportive, thoughtful, thorough, and caring. I now have a general practitioner that I have complete confidence in-staying with. Dr. Shah’s assistant, Jen, is also terrific. I am very thankful. Leslie
