Dr. Ritawari Mohan Sharangpani, MD

Apparently her excuse for disclosing patient information to the person she is dating or a friend/family member is she feels there is a threat to public safety if she doesnt however this is an excuse. Around our last appointment the person she was dating knew more about me then she did. Radical hinduism is what she projects when she is not being accurate with her treatment. Very un healthy for the American mental health system.

If I could rate her lower I would. She is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a psychology professional, ever. She made 30 minute appointments 5 minutes. Would switch me on medications every time I saw her, if I even could between her vacations and her other (job?). And don't get started with how you can't get in contact with her for anything, good luck trying to get help in a crisis or figure out if a medication is working. Just really disappointed with how she wasted my time and efforts throwing medicines at me and not really caring about my wellbeing.

I recieved poor medical care with this doctor

NEVER put your life in the hands of this medical doctor as she is only interested in being prepaid in advance. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ She has been gross negligence and way under meeting the standards of responsible due diligence.

Very poor service. Asks if your medication is ok and then out the door in 10 minutes always. The cost for this 10 minutes is $110.00. Does not ask questions to make sure all is well and if any changes should be made due to your answers.

When I moved to the area I was worried about finding a good psychiatrist, and I'm so glad I went to Dr. Rita.

Always kept me waiting and then pushed me out of her office as quickly as she could.

She helped my son feel comfortable while talking with him. She has helped us dial in the correct levels of medication my son needs as he is growing quickly now and going through puberty. She is a good listener. I enjoy her accent, though some may have some difficulty with it.

Referred to her by friends w/ child needing special assistance. But she's great working w/ as an adult pt who works in health care.

I'm a physician myself and Dr. Sharangpani is up to date on diagnosis and treatment. She does an excellent job. Honestly, I can't understand why her rating was only 2/4 on the only other rating, but there was no review so I suspect it was "sour grapes." Psychiatry is a very difficult specialty that can't be assessed accurately after one visit. I've been seeing her for years for my diagnosis and this after several other psychiatrists. She's great.
