Dr. Ritu Chitakki, MD

Dr. Chitakki has been my doctor for 20 years. I enjoy coming to my appointments because she makes me feel comfortable and puts my mind at ease when talking about any health concerns. She has a friendly manner and her staff is very likable. I couldn’t imagine anyone else as my primary care physician.

I am so sad to be writing this review as I had high hopes for this office, but I feel like I just got robbed. I was charged $241 to go over routine blood work from a physical. I went in May for an initial visit and a physical and everything seemed wonderful. When my blood work came back, the office called me at 9:00 asking me if I would come in to discuss the results. I was free that morning and made it in 30 minutes later for the 9:30 appointment they had. Dr. Chitakki let me know that my cholesterol levels were high and that I should cut back on eating read meat (I am a vegetarian) and to come back for more blood work in 3 months. 2 weeks later comes the bill for $241. I am not sure how something that a) could have been discussed over the phone and b) literally took 10 minutes of her time could cost this much. When I called to discuss the bill with confusion on how I could be charged so much for a consultation where I literally got no new information (and didn't even ask for… the appointment) I was told that is the normal fee and that they couldn't help lower the cost. I will be finding a new doctor that cares more about the patient than the money they can take from them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chitakki for about 19 years. I have referred family and friends to her numerous times. She is thorough and a good listener. I have never waited more than about 5 to 10 mins.....always seen quickly and very close to my appointment time. For me that is what I need in a doctor. Someone who understands that my time is as important as hers. Thanks Dr. Chitakki for the many many years of great service!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chitakki for the past six years and she never disappoints. She is professional , caring, thorough in her examinations and explanations, goes above and beyond to render care to her patients, and sees her patients on time. As a matter of fact, I never get a chance to read any of the magazines because I am seen on time. Dr. Chitakki is absolutely the best family physician!

She has shown genuine concern for me and this is the type of experience I want my daughter to have. I referred her to this doctor as well and we both love our doctor.
