Very knowledgeable in his field. No problems with rotator cuff surgery. Knew exactly what to do.

Well, from my visit I got NO information, NO handout, NO prescription, NO advice. Just a giant bill. It defies logic.

Dr. Robert Bell is funny, easy to talk to, and mostly is honest about my care. He told me up front what is wrong and what he could offer me without any promises and I appreciate his honest. I would recommend Dr. Bell to anyone. He performed lumbar injections on me and although they lasted for a week the point is he didn't promise me anything but offered me his help!

Dr Bell specializes in shoulder surgery. I tore my rotator cuff and he was very helpful explaining exactly what had happened and how he would fix it.

Dr. Bell and his staff are and have always been very patient driven. The first time I saw Dr. Bell was for torn rotator cuffs in 2002. Several other doctors had seen me but they found no problem. After a MRI to confirm, surgery was performed on one shoulder then the other with excellent results. In 2013 had to see Dr. Bell again for impingements resulting from age. Again excellent results! Will recommend Dr. Bell to anyone that has shoulder problems. As to the problems some reviewers have expressed-Dr. Bell and his staff are patient driven. Never during any of my times in the office, surgery or follow-ups did I feel put down or not feel that my best interests were being taken care of. Dr. Bell demands excellent care for his patients at all time from everyone.

Had my first surgery with Dr. Bell back in 2000 for Carpal tunnel, super fast surgery, great recovery time with great results. Returned in 2008 for the other hand! Same great treatment, same long-term staff (friendly) & same terrific results!

Staff was rude, Dr was rude. Misdiagnosed my condition. Wish I would have seen reviews prior to my visit. Please check his record out at harris county criminal records online. Don't waste your time/money on this bad Dr

Dr Bell was blunt/rude and in a hurry to push for surgical proceedures. I am glad that I got a second opinion, as I needed a brace and PT, not surgery. His nurse is very rude and more interested in my insurance limits than care. If you visit, be warned that he has also been disiplined for being INAPPROPRIATELY ANGRY with hospital staff (before & after a surgery) AND another time for UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT OR DISHONORABLE CONDUCT THAT IS LIKELY TO DECEIVE OR DEFRAUD THE PUBLIC OR INJURE THE PUBLIC.

After falling and injuring my back I saw Dr. Bell. He took very good care of me and today I still have some problems with my back as I get older but I am intelligent enough to understand that it is caused by getting older, not the fall. Dr. Bell did not over perscribe pain medication like a lot of doctors do and I am very very happy with Dr. Bell and will go to him again if I need an orthopedic doctor.
