Dr. Robert Matthew Block, MD

I went to Dr. Block only to remove wax from my ears. I did not have hearing problem. After removing the wax, he sent me to anther room for measuring my hearing which I did not need and did not request. I only asked Dr. Block one question about water coming from my nose. He responded if it bothers me? I said, NO. He looked at my nose and prescribed a nasal spray which did not help my nose. My insurance has a set amount of co-payment for office visit. I was expecting that I will be billed for our co-payment. Instead I received a statement which was three times of my agreed co-payment. I have sent three emails disputing the overcharged amount for which I have not received any response from Dr. Block's office. They have sent me a Final Notice threatening me to pay the overcharged amount in 30 days or they are going to turn my account to collection agency. I was disappointed with the way Dr. Block's office runs and treats patients. They knew what was my insurance… co-payment. If they wanted to overcharge me they should have ask or notified me before sending me a statement. I am very unhappy with Dr. Block's office that they do not even respond to patient's email enquiry.
