Dr. Robert Evan Burton, DO

Dr. Robert Burton is the best doctor I have ever seen. I've been his patient for a little over a year & I cannot begin to say enough about him that would give him the recognition he deserves. When I think about Dr. Burton I feel the need to smile & tell the world how great he is. I am dealing with many health conditions & at times have felt scared to share my symptoms or story with any doctor b/c I have been told that my conditions are not real or treated as though it is all in my head, but not Dr. Burton. He has always taken the time listen to me. No matter how long the visit took. He is genuinely concerned & takes his time to come up with the best plan of action to get me the best care that he can provide & if that means a referral or further testing, he makes it happen. I have cried in his presence many times b/c I was fed up with being sick or not having answers & scared to tell him that once again nothing is working & I feel worse. Every time he has comforted me & listened to me… without judgment or a negative reaction, which makes me feel like I'm safe & in good hands. He explains everything so that you understand what the plan is, what needs to be done & what will happen next. I know this is a lengthy review, but when you have been through as many doctors that I have that have rolled their eyes, told me that its not a real diagnosis, rushed in & out of our appointment like they have more important things to do, It is a breath of fresh air when you find a doctor who is totally opposite. I feel that he needs the recognition b/c he is absolutely the best doctor in Knoxville.

Dr. Burton may by the best doctor in the history of the world. I hate going to the doctor's office but I feel totally at ease when I see Dr. Burton. He genuinely cares about my well being. Great dude and a great doctor.

Our entire family sees him. He is hands down the most caring, compassionate, and thorough Dr we have ever been treated by!! We are complicated and he doesn't give up when things get tough!!
