Robert D. Coney, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Coney for around 20 years and have always appreciated his willingness to take the time to discuss any questions or issues that come up. Because of his interest in my health and his experience, I feel I have a doctor I can place my trust in for many years to come. In this age of a dwindling number of quality internists and a "move 'em in, move 'em out" mentality at many practices, I figure I'm fortunate to have someone like Dr. Coney to rely on.

Dr. Coney has been my internist for almost 20 years. In all that time, I have always been able to get in to see him when necessary. I think he has an excellent bedside manner. I may wait a few minutes before I am seen, but I know it's because he spends time with each patient and doesn't rush through the appointment. After I started seeing Dr. Coney, four friends also started seeing him as their primary.

Dr. Coney is an excellent doctor. However, the person that schedules his appointments is absolutely awful. She is rude, uncaring, she is easily the worst person I have ever dealt with at a doctor's office. I am so accustomed to wonderful people at other doctor's office's. Find another doctor, dealing with his staff will ruin your day.

I have been seeing Dr. Coney for years and plan to continue to do so. He is very personable, a good listener, and has a good bedside manner. However, I must admit that his front office staff can be slightly unprofessional at times.
