Dr. Robert Deitch, Md

The only time you go to see a Dr. is when your sick and usually when you are seeing an ENT you are usually very uncomfortable and want to feel better. Dr. Deitch's staff does everything to make you comfortable, and provide updates on wait time, as well as being very efficient and making the check in process go very smoothly. Dr. Deitch is compassionate, caring, listens to your problems, and explains your treatment in non-medical terms. He apologizes if he is late seeing you and always asks at the end if you as the patient have any other questions or concerns. Highly recommend him and his team as being one of the best in the NW suburbs. There is only one issue which is parking at the new facility, it is not always easy for someone who has a disability to find parking, but I am assuming that since he only rents his office space the management of the office/building should be aware of the issue.

I have been going to Dr. Deitch for many years, and have found him to be very comprehensive in his exams and asking you about your condition. He listens, and before prescribing medication or surgery immediately he will work with you to find the best solution for you condition. I have very bad allergies, that lead to bronchitis and sinus infections happens every winter. I am sensitive to medicine and he found the right medication that helps me get well with minimal issues from the medication. I could have surgery but he pointed out all the pitfalls of the sinus surgery and the recovery period. I have opted for no surgery and will go the medication and vaporiser route each winter. Thank you Dr. Deitch for being a caring and concerned physisian.

Dr. Deitch takes out the time to listen to his patients issues. He never rushes you out of the office. He takes time to explain concerns that you might have. His front office staff on the other hand is by no means friendly. Every time i call to leave a message and get promised that i will get a call back it never happens. The receptionist staff just want you off the phone and to get to the next call to be rude to them as well. I left 3 messages today for the doctor's reply back to my concern and the last message was at 3:40 pm (office closes at 4:30) and they promised me someone would call me back to schedule an appointment for me and no one ever did. I wish Dr. Deitch could get a new staff.....up front.......

I WAS IN A LOT OF KNEE PAIN WHEN I WALKED INTO DR DELTCH'S OFFICE. I WANTED TO EXERCISE BUT I WAS IN TOO MUCH PAIN. DR DELTCH IMMEDIATELY KNEW WHAT IT WAS AND UNLIKE THE OTHER DRS OFFEREDED ME A MEDICATION IN STEAD OF A SHOT WHICH I REALLY DIDN.T WANT. A MONTH LATTER I CANNOT ONLY WALK BUT I CAN MOOVE QUITE QUICKLY AND ARE UP TO THE WAY I WALKED BEFORE AND THE BEST THING IS I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN, THANKYOU DR.DELTCH.

Extremely rude and condescending doctor. Thinks too much of himself for nothing. He did a 3min routine on me and with every question he got defensive. My condition was left untreated. A completely useless trip for that kind of horrendous attitude from him and his office staff. Stay away at all costs unless you have really low self esteem and self-respect.

Dr. Deitch is one of the most caring physicians that I know of. He will always apologize if he has kept you waiting past your appointment time. He will explain to you all of your options for treatment and work with you to find the best solution that he feels is right for your condition. He always asks if you have additional questions and will take as much time with you as needed. Both my husband and I go to him for various sinus and allergy problems and we couldn't have asked for a better Dr. The highest praise we can give him is that we refer all of our friends to him, that is how confident we feel in his abilities, caring and decision making.

I just had endoscopic sinus surgery three days ago and I feel great! Dr. Deitch explained all of my options prior to surgery. He made sure that I was totally prepared beforehand. The surgery was a breeze! I did not need any pain medication and my incessant coughing at night has now stopped. I can sleep like a normal person. Dr. Deitch followed up the surgery by personally calling me twice to check on my condition and see if I had any questions or concerns. I am amazed at the level of personal attention. I would recommend him to anyone with sinus issues.

Dr. Deitch perhaps is a good physician but he allows his office staff taint his reputation & credibility. Office Staff is:RudeDisrespectful Spend more time on personal phone calls than on courtesyDirect communication and professionalism is not the acumen here.
