Dr. Robert Neal Fabricant, MD

He did not explain much to me and I did not know what to expect pre opt and especially post opt. After surgery they found a scratch on my eye which I believe he did as it wasn’t there prior to surgery. The pain was excruciating. I had 3 follow up appointments to try to heal the eye. I was told it is healed but my vision is still very blurry and the eye is in pain. I found out that Dr. Dovich (same Pacific Eye Institute) does a less invasive procedure which does not cause as much pain and has less risk. I switched immediately as I need to do the next eye. The other problems with this monopoly in the High Desert is the waits are very long. From 2.5 to 4 hours for treatment. I had 5 appointments plus the surgery. The surgery center is located approximately 45 miles from my home. I tried to get the surgery done where I live but they would not do it. I suggest you do not use Dr. Fabricant. His results are too sketchy. Some people come out fine many others don’t. I was amongst… the ones that had problems.

Such an great doctor for my mother, Dr Fabricant performed Cataract extraction and insertion of intraocular lens implants in both eye. Her vision is improving each day. The plus to all this is the follow-up visit to the office and the doctor was the best. The doctor answered all the question that where asked of him. The staffing of appointments and surgery is the best I have seen in a long time. Very caring for each patient.

the dr. did my lens implaints..i love him...this was done about 15-20 yrs ago...have not had 1 problem...i moved away from area but im back in upland again and choose pacific eye inst. again...only down is the wait time...but u get the best,,,,

Most unprofessional doctor I have dealt with. I have never in my many years of dealing with doctors, been disrespected and humiliated in the way I was communicated to when I was in his office. He walks and talks as if he were God! Sorry to break it to u doc but you're not even close!

He is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr Fabricant removed a catarac from my right eye five years ago and one from my left eye a couple of months ago. Both surgeries were very successful. Dr. Fabricant is a very carng doctor and takes time to answer all questions. I would recommend Dr. Fabricant and Pacific Eye Center to anyone needing eye care.
