Dr. Robert Alan Fada, MD

First, he lied to me about needing a knee replacement and totally messed up the knee. Second, I had to have a revision and went to a different doctor. There are many good orthopedic doctors, Dr. Fada is Not one of them. I don't recommend him at all.

Rober Fada did hip replacement on my husband Jan 2022, a month later his femur broke and surgery had to be redone. He never healed. Please avoid this this surgeon!! His bedside manner is horrible, but that didn't matter as long as a good surgeon. But he is not. A second opinion revealed he needed the hip redone. My husband had staples removed today and doing great after wasting a year with 2 failed surgeries done by Robert Fada.

I remember meeting Dr. Fada when he was an athlete at Fairborn (Ohio) Park Hills High School and had suffered a hand injury and was taken care of by the orthopedic staff at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Medical Center. I later told him that he made a good decision to go to the University of Pittsburgh. I am proud of him for being an outstanding scholar-athlete and now, after a career in the NFL, an orthopedic surgeon. I have not seen Dr. Fada for a long time, but feel that I can recommend him highly.

I have been seeing Dr Fada for 11 years. First for a hip replacement and more recently a knee replacement. I have also seen two other surgeons in his practice for other orthopedic issues. All due to a car accident. The office staff and doctors are the best. I travel 1 1/2 - 2 hours to his office. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Fada has replaced both of my hips and knees since 2000 and has given me a new lease on life. His no nonsense approach to the surgery and rehab have resulted in total mobility with very few limitations. When asked what I could do after surgery his reply was anything within reason, just don't do Anything stupid. That advice has served me well since before embarking on a questionable activity I now ask myself " Is this reasonable " If not I don't do it.

He was extremely rude and suggested immediately that I get a wheelchair and order a coffin because I would need it within two years. I wouldn't send a dog to him.

Dr. Fada did both of my hip replacements. I am glad that I had them done and Dr. Fada did an excellent in getting me into surgery and made sure I had the care that I needed. The only thing is that is doesn't communicate to the patient what you should be doing - pt, occupational therapy, or after that. He spends little time with the patient because he is so busy. But without his experiene I wouldn't be walking.

DR FADA IS AN EXCELLENT SURGEON, HAS WONDERFULE BEDSIDE MANNERS, TREATS HIS PATIENTS AND FAMILY WITH RESPECT, UNDERSTANDING, AND HIS STAFF.....WOW, EXCELLENT AT GRANT HOSPITAL IN COLUMBUS OHIO...EVERY STEP OF MY HUSBANDS SURGERY, ME AND MY 9 YEAR OLD WAS KEPT INFORMED. NOT JUST HE'S DOING OK OR EVERYTHINGS GOING OK, BUT DETAILED INFORMATION SO THAT WE COULD UNDERSTAND.

Dr Fada is an awesome doctor he ha replaced both of my hips and both of my brothers hips as well I also need both of my knees replaced and he will be doing those as well. He does an excellent job and I would recommend him to everyone
