Dr. Robert M Feldman

The worst bedside manner I have ever witnessed in the USA. As a medical field worker I have never encountered a DR that chose to argue with a patient’s family member and threatened to not perform their surgery at 100% The idea that he would even allow those words to come out if his mouth. He scheduled a surgery @8am he never made an appearance until 10:30.. without an apology for running behind he chose to interject himself in a conversation between the patient and the family member an began an argument. Witness and heard by the staff and other patients. The disrespect of time was bad but the language to threaten not to perform surgery at his best is questionable. I will be taking this complaint to the medical board as well.

I was referred to Dr. Feldman by my optometrist. He helped me understand my Glaucoma diagnosis and treatment options. He seemed to give great care about taking a less invasive approach at the beginning. I did have to have surgery eventually but by waiting I had access to a newer technology that will give me the best vision possible. He also took great care between the left and right eye surgeries to give me the best outcome. While this is a larger University setting the team gave very personal care.

Wish I would have met him 10 years ago

Was having problems with blurred vision and Dr. Feldman was able to accurately diagnosis my problem that my other doctor couldn't figure out. For years I was told that I had glaucoma but wasn't the problem. thanks to Dr. Feldman I don't have to use drops and my vision and eye glass prescription has helped tremendously. Even though the waiting time is a little long I'll still keep coming here to see him.

He simply saved my sight. After my failed surgery elsewhere he was able fix my glaucoma and save my vision from previous problems

The 2nd surgery on my right eye was done by Dr. Feldman, who insisted installing tube. I had huge worry about this. But he was so persisting and almost forced me taking this option instead of regular Trab. After tubing, everything went out of his expectation/promising - very bad treatment and diagonosis. Within 1 month after surgery, my righ eye presure went up and I had to be back on eye drops. He wasted a surgery opportunity with my right eye. I will absolutely never recommend him for any Glaucoma patient.

There aren't enough words to explain how Dr. Feldman doesn't care about his patients or how he can better assist them. I needed a simple letter to state the patient's condition and tell that she needed assistance while traveling back overseas, but no. He absolutely refused to state these words "The patient needs assistance". After all the money we spent bringing the patient from overseas to be treated by Dr. Feldman after we heard on Fox 26 that he treated a woman who had Glaucoma and had a cloudy vision and later was able to see. Our whole family had high hope, We put together whatever was necessary to get the patient here asap. Not only we didn't have a full diagnostic because the type of glaucoma the patient had wasn't stated in the file, but we don't know either what type of glaucoma he treated with the injections. Overall, we had a very very poor and disappointing meeting with Dr. Feldman. I'm not a Dr., but if I was one, I would put the patient first. I'm not asking for a favor… or anything illigal, so that little statement "the patient needs assistance" shouldn't be a big deal since he has nothing to lose after all, this is pure cruelty.
