My then boyfriend and I saw him for couples counselling, with several sessions each individually as well. He shared details that I told him were quite private with my partner, without hesitation, and overall, treated me very poorly making me look as bad as possible in my boyfriend's eyes, while they connected as "guys" talking about sports. At the end of each session, my BF and I argued, I cried, and he had to console me. But it ultimately was vastly destructive, and it didn't take him long. What is so insidious is that he does seem pretty smart, so his undermining of our relationship was more effective and more unconscionable. It was just about as negative an experience as possible; I could not recomment him to anyone whom I cared for, and probably in good conscience, not even to an "enemy". He has NO earthly business doing this sensitive work, and was a destroyer of anything good and holy in my relationship, like a "doomsday" machine. Yikes!!

I would recommend him highly.
