Dr. Robert Marc Friedman, MD

My wife had a miscarriage and we visited Friedman. We were very disappointed with this Doctor. He said we could try after a month. This is not correct, usually doctors recommend to wait for atleast 3 months before planning for next kid. He could not answer any of our questions. I doubt if he is even qualified. If it was not for my wife I would have sued him. I would never recommend this doctor with such low skill set.

I echo the other comments posted with regard to the poor bedside manner and inappropriate comments referencing my personal sex life. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Oh, and don't cry in front of him. He got extremely annoyed, used fowl language, and asked my husband, "how can you live with this; you probably want to shoot your self." All the other doctors and staff in this office are amazing; I'm shocked he continues to work there.

I am a Doctor myself and know how important bedside manner is. He was post call today, completely rushed me and could care less. First time I met him. I told nurse about it. And she said he's post call and often times he's worst. I was in residency once too but never treated people like this. Sorry but I never have written anything bad about another Doctor, but his manners are terrible

I was very disappointed with Dr Friedmans lack of care.

Completely blew off my test results and left me as worried and puzzled about my symptoms as I had been before the visit. Do NOT recommend at all.

Dr Friedman is a very good Doctor he's easy going he listens to all my problems and makes me feel better with whatever is going on with my body. Like now I am pregnant and this will be my 5th child Dr Friedmanand his group will help me deliver as though he did with my other for children I've been with Dr Friedman and his group for 16 plus years and will continue until they no longer practice....

Always rushes through any appointment you have. He does not take time with you.

Dr. Friedman was my ob/gun when I was pregnant with my son several years ago. My pregnant was not planned, I was in my last year of college. I was excited to have my child, took excellent care of myself, and followed all of his instructions. When I was 7 months pregnant I got bronchitis and because I couldn't take anything to stop the coughing due to my pregnancy, I woke up in the middle of the night with a coughing fit that tore muscles in my back causing me excruciating pain. When I called Dr. Friedman to ask if I should go to the ER he tersely told me that I was just going to have to deal with the discomforts of pregnancy. When I was in labor my son was in distress and turned facing my back. Dr. Friedman used forceps and suction without my permission and kept yelling at me to hurry up because he wanted to go home to eat his wife's lasagna. Once my child was born and I was delivering the placenta, dr. Friedman kept making comments about how disgusting the placenta was. When I… asked him how many stitches I had he wouldn't tell me and said I should be careful not to sneeze too hard because he wouldn't fix the stitches. Then at my follow up visit he made the comment that after all I went through I should "think twice before drinking too much at a Villanova frat party at winding up pregnant". I left crying and feeling terrible and because I was young I didn't realize that another doctor wouldn't treat me that way.

Poor bedside manner, inappropriate comments referencing my personal sex life. Did not listen to my issues or concerns, when I was answering his question, I was interrupted and my feelings were discounted and unimportant. Because of this one visit to Chester County OBGYN, I will be changing over to mainline health after being with chester county for 8 years.
