Dr. Robert Mark Fumich, MD

I'm not sure I have ever had a worse experience with a doctor. He didn't answer any of my questions, didn't even look at where I was telling him I had pain, never looked at the x-ray I was told to get. He was in the room for maybe 4 minutes and wrote me a prescription for steroids that I didn't need. An unbelievable waste of time. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

1st visit was very knowledgeable about my injury, understanding of pain I as experiencing wellness plan put in place

I injured my knee in high school. He told me I had an ACL injury. He wanted to do surgery and me and my mother went to get another opinion. The doctor said it was a bruise. I never got the surgery and only missed about three weeks of play. Eventually earned a college basketball scholarship that jump started my life. Could only have imagined how things would have turned out had I gone with this guy.

I met with Dr. Fumich recently in regards to issues with my C6-C7. I was skeptical about everything seeing as how i have had 2/3 failed surgeries in the past (not done by him). I expressed my concerns to Dr Fumich explaining that I did not want to have surgery seeing as how I am 32 years old and this is my spine. After talking with me for awhile explaining all of my options I had the opportunity to turn the heat on. My first question which I could tell threw him off a little was "If i choose to do this surgery, why should i let YOU do it." I could tell he was a bit taken back by that, but he politely stated how "some doctors may take offense to that, but i respect you asking." If his bedside manner were anything but impeccable that would have been the time that it showed, but he handled it perfectly, respectfully and confidently. He took his time with me, (probably 15 minutes) which was exactly what i needed. I am having surgery with him in a few weeks and will be back to further my… review. So far though, I trust him and am willing to let him cut me open.

Never once have I written a review on anything before, so this is saying something! I went to see Dr. Fumich for a knee injury. He was rude, answered none of my questions, hardly got to know anything about my knee situation and i was in and out of his examination room within 3-4 minutes. He made it very clear that he didn't even want to give me the time of day. I left feeling so upset and disappointed. It's nice to know that it wasn't just me who experienced this kind of terrible "treatment" from him. Please, save yourself the time and money and choose another doctor to see. You will thank us all later.

Terrible

VERY rude and arrogant . absolutely the worst bedside manner i have ever seen . i walked in to his office with 12 questions that he kept avoiding to answer . after 3 of his rotator cuff repairs by him that tore 1-2 days after, he said i was in VERY poor health . i take NO meds ,not even Tylenol .I'm 59 yrs old and exercise every day . i walked out of his office very angry NEVER to return . DO NOT go to this anti-doctor for anything . i would not even let him sew my blue jeans ! Since this accident happened at work he was even more chitty to me . ive heard he now charges you for any BWC papers that his POOR staff has to fill out . I have met 3 others in physical therapy that say the exact same thing .After DESTROYING my right shoulder I'm not able to ever return to my trade , transmission rebuilder , which i have trained for since i was 17 yrs old .I will now have to take a position of less salary for the remainder of my working days. I then went to the Cleveland shoulder institute ,… Dr Gobezie , who repaired it correctly the 1st time . DO NOT GO TO HIM .

After just having Rotor Cu surgery 1 week ago and now starting to use my arm again, I am amazed at the ability and professionalism of this doctor. Thank You so much, Keith Eckmeyer

Office staff needs an empathy lesson too, always a chip on their shoulder!
