Dr. Gorsline is wonderful. He listens to you and your concerns, answers all questions and explains everything in detail.

Dr Gorsline has a very poor bedside manner in my opinion. He was curt, full of himself and condescending. Never asked me how my arthritis interferes with my daily life & activities or what my pain level is. He failed to provide adequate options to manage the condition. He was not able to walk me through what surgery would entail. So I left w/o proper explanation & understanding of surgery options and no pain management options either. I will not return and would not advise anyone to go to him. There are so many better options in the Columbus area!

Bad bed side manners, he did surgery my toe , I tried to tell him I was having a lot of pain a few weeks after my surgery, he didn’t believe me, my toe that he did surgery on he didn’t leave enough space now my big toe over laps the 2nd toe. I got another opinion after he wouldn’t listen to me the I got a second opinion and the Dr. said I would have to have the same surgery again since the toes were over lapping.

Terrible bedside manner. Although he may be a good surgeon, his communication skills and empathy for his patients are lacking.

After several months of foot pain whenever I would take a walk, I sought help from Orthopedic One. They had me see Dr Robert Gorsline who was clearly interested in helping me. I am hopeful that my foot will heal in a timely manner so I can resume my favorite exercise—walking.

I have seen previous orthopedists that have seen me in clinic only for a very limited amount of time, and I have been very satisfied. So long as they are able to listen and respect my concerns, it is fine to be succinct and to the point. For Dr. Gorsline, I cannot speak to his operative capabilities (which I would presume to be just fine), but if you make seeing you in clinic feel like the equivalent of a police interrogation, I'm not coming back. I would highly recommend searching elsewhere, if possible, for your orthopedic needs.

He came into my room never introduced himself, looked at my foot stated I don't see why your in pain. Well low & behold I went to a foot surgeon he done an MRI & I'm pending foot surgery. Request further imaging before telling a patient they shouldn't be in pain.

I believe because Dr. Gorsline is sooooo Good at what he does not have to spend much time with the patient. When he does spend time, he gets the job done! From pre surgery to follow up review, visit with his PA & OT staff, I felt well taken care of. I have never been broken before. I am thankful for Dr. Gorsline & his fine tuned staff. Next year this time my leg will move like TINA TURNER even if it does not look like hers. lol
