The office of Dr Kavitt is unprofessional. I was rescheduled 4 times for an appointment and decided to ask for a different referral. I would not feel comfortable being handled by a team of unprofessionals.

I waited 3 months to see this doctor...please do not waste your time. Dr. Kavitt spent 15 minutes of my appointment sitting with his back towards me, reading my health records on his computer. I came for a second opinion - he gave me the opinions of the other doctors on the medical records, and told me to go back to where I was being treated before. Told me he saw that I have appointments elsewhere. Then asked me if I had questions...once I started asking, he got really impatient and started looking at his phone and shifting in his seat. Then started to be very rude. Found out later that he billed my insurance 800 dollars....for this literal joke of an appointment. Dont see this doctor for the name “U of C” - especially if the matter was urgent like it was for me.

You will not get a warm fuzzy feeling from Dr Kavitt, BUT! he is gentle and thorough. I would recommend him.

I found Dr. Kavitt via Google. It ended up that my husband was misdiagnosed by 3 local doctors. Dr. Kavitt was genuinely concerned for my husband's well-being, ordered a lot of tests and found out my husband had head and neck cancer. He got my husband to the right team of physicians where he received extensive chemo/radiation treatments and is cancer free!
