Dr. Robert David Klausner, MD

He is very caring and excellent at diagnosing your condition. He doesn’t rush you out. He explains everything and he’s always been on point. I wouldn’t trust anybody else. I’ve been going to him for over 10 years. I highly recommend him and his office staff is great. they are also very caring they make you feel like your family. He’s also done my eyelids and a deviated septum in the past and he was excellent.

Waking up with some sores in my mouth, and a little blood on my pillow, I immediately called Dr. Klausner. Although he was fully booked for the day, he did fit me in. In fewer than five minutes, he knew the problem and that is was life-threatening (blood sores in mouth, blood in nose) . He said get these listed blood tests today! Not tomorrow. I did. Within two hours, he had the results. He called. "Go straight to the Emergency Room. Do not wait to pick anything up. Have your wife drive you." I did. My platelets were at essentially the zero level. Any bruise, I would likely have died. This was confirmed by doctors in the ER. During my six days in the hospital , I was effectively treated and my platelets were back up in the "safe" range. Dr. Klausner is knowledgeable about so many medical issues. I have been with him for years and will never be with any other ENT. I recommend him to all of my friends.

I was so impressed with Dr. Klausner and with staff. He immediately put me at ease and answered all of my questions. His professionalism and dedication was impeccable. His office staff are the best.

I have been a patient of Dr. Klausner for over seven years. His staff and his advice have always been excellent. One leaves the practice with printed, step-by-step instructions for remediating symptoms for health issues.

A few years ago, Dr. Klausner did a face lift for me. I hired him on his good reviews and his pleasant personality. What I didn’t realize is that the reviews are mixed together for both of his practices. He has a double office with one door for ear-nose-throat patients and another for cosmetic patients (the fancy side). The before and after photos showed that the facelift did nothing to improve my appearance. I wasted thousands of dollars and suffered a lot of pain. When I asked Dr.Klausner about it, he suggested chemical peels, Botox and fillers. I have saved up for a revision and have just had another facelift. What a difference! The results are amazing. My new doctor did everything differently both before and after the surgery. He included vitamins and high end facial products to speed the healing process. He specializes in plastic surgery only and is a true artist. He is not trained in another field and jumping on the lucrative cosmetics band wagon. I hope this helps others to… chose a plastic surgeon who specializes in one area only. Make sure to check out the credentials and look at lots of before and after photos of other patients.

At 40 years old in the year 2000.. with no prior ENT problems, I was recommended to Dr. Klausner by my GP because of an unusual sinus infection that started to migrate into the Cartlidge of my sinuses so that I had a very painful red and swollen nose. Otherwise young and healthy, it was a very concerning infection. I felt the seriousness and the concern in Dr. Klausner’s detailing of both the medical problem I had and the proposed treatment. After a series of IV antibiotics & nasal sprays, the swelling subsided and 22 years later I’ve never had any reoccurrence. That was the beginning of my relationship with Dr. Klausner and his seriously well trained staff. Naturally as we age- we have more problems. Several years later, I developed a very pesky cough. Not deep, just consistent. After a lung x-ray and some other exams by other MD’s. I went to Dr. Klausner had a scan revealed a severely deviated septum… Not surprising from all the sports I had played as a youth… And not a fun… surgery to correct as everyone knows who has had it! At least 15 years have gone by since that surgery without one single reoccurrence or problem. In the past decade or so I’ve had a ‘normal’ amount of sinus infections & ear aches and a few delicate basal and squamous cell cancer‘s that needed to be removed from my face. I’m not sure I have the ability to articulate the amount of confidence I have in Dr. Klausner… So I’ll just put it like this; he is my ‘Go-To’ Doctor. He’s a shining example of a concerned and caring physician who takes a patient’s complaint seriously. I am motivated to write this letter… Because I was reminded what a caring doctor he is by my 32-year-old son who is dealing with A sudden earache & sinus problem from swimming in the Gulf. When my son asked me who to go to for a doctor without hesitation I recommend Dr. Klausner. After speaking with my son, he was quite thankful with the way Dr. Klausner examined him and explained the medical ailment and treatment in detail. So we Thompson’s are moving onto a 2nd generation in our family entering the care of a bright, efficient and articulate physician. That level of comfort unfortunately seems to be rare these days in the Medical field. So in summary ~ this family has over 2 decades of caring ENT treatments from Dr. Klausner and his staff ~ and we could not be more satisfied. I have been reading glowing reviews about Dr. Kalusner but sadly I cannot agree. On my first visit he gave me a paper explaining a condition I could have in my ear which was very serious. He never did diagnose me with that condition and even after an MRI and CT scan there was really no diagnosis. He said the tech reading the CT scan thought there might be a tumor in the ear canal but that he, Dr. Klausner, thought the tech "over-reacted" and he thought it was nothing. Upon reading the report his office girl printed for me, it said the tech felt it was not a tumor. So what Dr. Klausner told me was not true. I did have several problems concerning me and Dr. Klausner said I had way too many complaints for him to help me. When I asked about the "aging brain" diagnosis he did give me, because my primary doctor was concerned, he told me two things.....first he said since I could not recall the exact date my headaches began (even though I told him they started just before my first… appointment with him and they were one of the reasons for the appointment) perhaps I was having memory issues. When I said I have had no loss of memory he grilled me on why I could not recall the exact date my headaches began. He also told me to do nothing about my hearing loss, the embedded debris in my left ear canal which be could not remove, the headaches, the neck pain, etc. Too any complaints he said (all connected I said) so just go out and have fun! I left his office feeling like he had made fun of me, feeling like he just got tired of someone with an actual ailment because i did not need any facial reconstruction or a facelift. I contacted Dr. Klausner because I thought he was an ENT but after being at his office several times I realized he actually did a lot more plastic surgery than he handled ear, nose, and throat problems. Truly unhappy with his condescending manner. I wonder if anyone else has has the same experience but just did not take the time to write a review?

I have used Dr Klausner for many different procedures. He is kind, caring and very professional! I would highly recommend him and feel very confident in his skills. He also has an excellent staff with him which is icing on the cake!

Dr. Klausner's level of service and medical expertise is unmatched. I have been receiving Botox for several years from Dr. Klausner and it is always expertly done and very effective (life changing). My older mother has also gotten it for many years and we are both very pleased. I would recommend patients of all ages to his practice!
