Dr. Robert Jeremy Laningham, MD

I was a patient for over 10 yrs. I never felt I got in depth attention, but I kept seeing him. My PSA went up for years before I became aware of the significance of this and raised the issue with him. I have left his practice and am now seeking treatment at MDA.

Horrible! We move to the area and I needed to find a new doctor for my annual well checkup. I went to Dr. Robert Jeremy Laningham at Conroe Willis Family Medicine. After being called back to a room the nurse came in with a laptop. She asked me for information that I had already provided in the lengthy new patient forms I gave her the three maintenance medications I am on for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and low thyroid. Dr. Jeremy Laningham came in and said “you’re here for your annual well checkup? I said yes & he listened to my heart with his stethoscope. He sat down & asked me if I wanted to get blood work done. I said “yes, I’m on three maintenance medications and I’m 67 years old”. I was astonished that a doctor would ask if you wanted blood work done when you are there for an annual well checkup. It should have been obvious that I needed blood work done to my numbers before writing my prescriptions. The doctor did not look in my throat, ears or nose. No… urine sample was taken. The doctor did not feel my abdomen, did not check for a hernia and did not do a digital prostate exam. He listened to my heart and that was the entire exam. As disappointed as I was with the exam I was just as unhappy when I received the bill from an outsourced billing company called Optium Compute. My insurance has paid 100% of my annual well checkups, with no co-pay & the deductible does not apply, for years. Conroe Willis Family Medicine billed my insurance $678.00. The bill showed a balance of $171.99 to be paid by me because the bill was coded to “Office/outpatient visit” for $392.00 and “PPPS subsequent visit” $266.00. I called the outsource billing company & told them I was seen for my annual well checkup and the bill was not coded correctly. They insisted it was coded correctly. The reason they gave was because I was there with a problem because I was on maintenance medications. After getting nowhere with the person I spoke with they finally said I could call Conroe Willis Family Medicine & try to get them to change the coding on the bill. I spoke to someone in billing and they said they understood & would transfer me to her supervisor for her to get it corrected. When I spoke with the supervisor and she said the bill was coded correctly & refused to correct it even though I made my case that I did not come in with a problem, but was in for my annual well checkup, which was the only way I could get my prescriptions renewed. After giving the supervisor one last opportunity to code the bill correctly and resubmit it to my insurance, which she refused, I gave up and told her they could do whatever they wanted, but I would never pay one dime of their bogus bill. It is a total scam and I have no doubt that I am one of many that have been a victim c Willis Family Medicine deliberately coding annual well checkup bills incorrectly so they can net more money than they would have if it were coded correctly.

The staff, providers and service I receive at CWFM is above any care of I have ever received. You can get in same day on most occasions and they will greet you with a smile, all providers provide top quality care and I wouldn't go any where else.

I'm, sorry I used to love Dr. Laningham, and I would have sworn him to be the best doctor in the world, and I had at one time recommended him to everyone I knew, but he literally ruined my life. I was a patient of his for over 10 years. I came to him once and asked him if he thought I had diabetes based on some symptoms I had. He told me not to be ridiculous, I asked him to test me any way and he did. They called me and told me the results were fine, nothing to worry about. Less than a year later I was admitted to the hospital for another issue and in the ER they kept asking me how long I had been diabetic. I told them I wasn't. They informed me I was. After I was released from the hospital I asked Dr. Langingham's office for a copy of my medical records so I could take them to see a specialist in diabetes. Turns out according to my blood tests I had out of normal range blood sugar readings for a full 3 years before the day I asked him to test me and almost 4 years before that day in… the ER. Had Dr. Laningham paid attention to any of my blood work he could have caught this when I was pre-diabetic and I would have at least had a chance to turn it around. I really wish I could say he is a great doctor because I really did like him as a person, but no one should have to go through what I've gone through since all this without at least having a chance to turn it around, all because a doctor could not be bothered to read the lab results.

absolutely loved seeing Dr. Laningham. he was so nice and had great bedside manner. staff was very helpful, front desk was very friendly. i would recommend this doctor to my family.

Nice Dr. but very rushed. Wait time was long. Front office did not seem organized and was not thorough. He has a lady enter into the computer during the consultation. Makes for very sterile and impersonal appointment.

I saw Dr Lanninghams nurse practitioner, she was AWFUL. She treated me like a drug seeking addict when I came in for my thyroid and fibromyalgia treatment. I literally walked out, I was so disgusted with how I was being talked to. She made me feel terrible. I have had the misfortune of seeing some really terrible doctors in my time, but she takes the cake. I didn't even catch her name but if you are offered an appointment with one of their nurses, please decline and run like heck. You'd be better suited going to a veterinarian. I believe her first name was Patricia. Stay away.

This is a great doctor . My family has been with him since Sadler Clinic days. I also need to thank them for getting FOX "alleged news" off of the waiting room television. Sitting and waiting with that crap being broadcast gives me a headache.
