Dr. Robert Myles Mccallum, MD

All interactions with the group are professional. Staff are all pleasant and made me comfortable from the first. Dr McCallum is definitely a professional I would and will refer to.

After spending a day in ER with severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting; the CT scan showed an irritated colon, but a lower GI test would have to be done by a Gastroenterologist through my primary according to the hospital. Dr. McCallum told me my pain was due to my slouching and being overweight. He pressed on my ribs as hard as he could several times to cause me pain and said, "It's your ribs". I have severe osteoperosis and pressing on someone's ribs like like that is the most ignorant thing I have ever encountered from a doctor. I can't believe this guy has a license to practice. He spent maybe five minutes with me, and walked out to the next patient in which I heard him accusing her of being angry with him. This doctor has some serious issues and I wouldn't wish anyone I cared about to put their health at risk with this doctor.

Dr. McCallum has been especially helpful and understanding. I have GERD which can be quite severe and he has helped me so it is manageable (it cannot be cured). I would definitely recommend Dr. McCallum

I saw Dr McCallum when he oracticed at NW Hos and I felt comfortable with his care , concern and communications. He was sensitive and a good listener too .I revommend him to anyone who wants help with a GI issue .

There is nothing negative about my experience both in Oro Valley and now Dr. McCallum is in Tucson. He was my husband's Dr., then mine. He is very thorough, knows what he is doing, and helpful with how to follow-up after procedure done. Very nice, calm and responsive doctor. He's been my doctor for years, would not go to anyone else.

Almost like a lay person

I have had gastro intestinal issues since the age of 15. When I went to see Dr. Macallum nearly ten years into my ordeal, he perfectly diagnosed all my issues and fixed the majority of the problems that are possible to fix within modern medicine. He literally changed the way I could live my life, and I owe him more than just a thank you.
