Great Doctor

Dr Milam is an awesome guy and seems to care about his patients. He doesn't sugarcoat and explains everything. I've had several issues with my back and neck and Dr. Milam has fixed all of them. .many thanks to Dr Milam and his team. I always feel like I'm their most important patient.

I was referred to dr. Milam to workman's comp found out later he had ovary 100 lawsuits against him for bad surgeries from an attorney. Surgery unsuccessful then he wanted to operate on my right leg from my drop foot had a nerve conductive test by him decide to go back to a nerve conductive doctor I had another week later he confirmed they still had a problem my back with my L5 SI proceeded to change doctors against workman's comps Authority. Found dr. Adamson in Charlotte North Carolina At Carolina Neurological and Surgery Center deals with the nerves had a CAT scan with contrast found out that both my disks were still squash. I guess you could say they were not repaired proceeded for disc surgery again for the second time which he fixed. After approximately one year l45 disc did fail again we decide to do a disc Fusion I'm doing much better now I would suggest that nobody goes to or there Carolina and has dr. Milam operate on them he's strictly a workman's comp doctor Who they send… people to. If they sent you to a reputable doctor to begin with you wouldn't have had 3 surgeries such as myself still trying to recover. Insurance companies do not want to help you any more than they have to Phil take the cheapest way out negotiate lower prices and this is what you end up with now I have drop foot pain and both my legs I'm still at work and probably will not be able to turn to work. Stay away from OrthoCarolina for back surgery my advice.

Dr Milam and his team took good care of me after a car accident I was in at work...Took the time to explain to me what was going on and what I could expect after my surgery.My follow up visit he took his time as if I was family..Very good experience with him and his team..Thanks Dr Milam for helping people get the lives back...

This man told an 78 yr old woman she had spinal stenosis and said there was nothing he could do for her. This woman already knew she had scoliosis and he offered her no help. She is now bent over, cannot straighten up, she is twisted and spends her days and nights in a chair. What level of bedside manner, of incompetence, of even caring for let alone abiding by the oath does this so called doctor have? None. What human being who has the medical knowledge to help someone and doesn't? Why because she was an old woman? What? I cannot fathom how this man is allowed to practice medicine.

Awesome doctor..did surgery and took away the pain after 3 other surgeons had said it was something I would have to live with. No complaints at all. Also Mercy Hospital took excellent care of me

Dr. Milam is a very caring, courteous doctor and makes the patient feel very at ease. He takes time to answer your questions and does not make you feel like he is in a hurry. It is too bad more doctors do not have the same bedside manner.

Dr. Milan had to be the worst physician that I have ever seen. He seemed to be dumbfounded when presented with my symptoms, and left me with no diagnosis .They had an enormous copayment,and I left feeling like I had just been robbed.I would never recommend him to anyone.I don't think he was the brightest in his class!

Botched partial diskectomy resulted in piece of disk lodging in spine. Excrtiating pain started next day. Dr. Milam was on vacation. Hospital admitted and new surgery had to be performed. Nearly died. Horrible outcome.
