Dr. Robert Steven Nicoloff, MD

Dr. Nicoloff changed my life and saved it. I was suffering for quite a bit of time then Dr. Nicoloff swooped in and found a cure when nobody else could. He is single handedly the best doctor in the world!

This doctor was dismissive, arrogant, rude and put me on a medication that made me feel even worse than I was already feeling - which was miserable. When I emailed him telling him my symptoms asking for help in what I should do next I didn't hear from him until over a week later and it was only to confront me because by then i had changed doctors.. Don't bother wasting your time with this man. Find a doctor who actually cares about their patients. I would give no stars if that was possible.

I have had type 1 diabetes for about 18 years. I have had numerous endocrinologists over the years, and Dr. Nicoloff is my most current. He is great! I have brittle diabetes that has been hard to handle at times. In the short time I have been a patient of Dr. Nicoloff's, my HBA1C has dropped down to a 6.8 due in large part to him! As of my last appointment he thinks we can get it even lower. Having an endocrinologist like Dr. Nicoloff who really honestly seems to care about his patients' health makes taking care of your own health so much easier. I really get the feeling that he sincerely wants the best for me and showed great concern for some of the problems I was having. Dr. Nicoloff also is very knowledgeable about his field and was able to put me on a medication to help control a diabetic complication that nobody else had even mentioned to me in the past. I have been struggling with this complication for years, and it was the main reason I had some higher HBA1C's. Now that I'm on… this new medication things are going great! I could tell when Dr. Nicoloff saw my most recent HBA1C he was genuinely pleased with the result. He's very supportive and really encourages his patients to take charge of their diabetes and to be proactive in the care of their health. He makes lots of good suggestions at appointments and spends as much time with you as you need; he never rushes me out of there or makes me feel like he's on a clock. Even with as much time as he's willing to spend with his patients, he's always on time with his appointments! It is very apparent that Dr. Nicoloff is also up-to-date with all of the latest technologies and infomation out there that relates to diabetes. He was even able to tell me about plans for future developments in diabetes care that are being explored! He obviously takes his field seriously and wants to make sure he is on top of things so he can provide the best healthcare to his patients. One last thing that impressed me most about Dr. Nicoloff, and that showed me how involved in my health he planned to be was a phone call I received only a few weeks after becoming a new patient of his. I had reently begun continuous glucose monitor training and I made a comment to my trainer. She later spoke with Dr. Nicoloff and mentioned this comment to him. That day, he called me personally (him! not a nurse) to give me information about that particular situation to make sure that I was making good, informed choices. Between his impressive knowledge of diabetes and his genuine concern for his patients' health, he is probably one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

I have been diabetic for 25 years. Dr. Nicoloff is the 1st Dr. in a VERY long time that has actually helped me and listened to me. He is very thorough and professional. I HIGHLY recommend him! There are to many Dr.'s that aren't up to date on diabetes and giving out dated information....Dr. Nicoloff is NOT one of them!!!

Tells you he will do something but does notfollow up. He is unreliable as far as I am concerned.
