When it was determined that I had a bicuspid aortic valve with an associated ascending thoracic aneurysm, my AME/Cardiologist recommended I see Dr. Riley for necessary surgery and repairs. Doctor Riley and his staff were in credibly great in every way. Explanations of my needs, conduct of the surgery, and follow-up were great. I do not think I could have found a better surgeon and staff. Recovery is going well. Dr. Riley has my highest appreciation and confidence for a job "well done."

My cardiologist indicated I needed to have my aortic valve and part of my aorta replaced. One of the doctors he recommended, when I asked, was Dr. Robert Riley. After doing a little research I decided to get an appointment with Dr. Riley. I am ever so glad I did. Dr. Riley explained the total process to me and gave me the pros and cons of valve selection. He also explained the operation to me as well and answered all my questions regardless of what they were. His assistant Gina was great in helping me get scheduled and was also very supportive. After the surgery, Dr. Riley monitored my case and checked in on me as needed. The after surgery appointment also was great in that he explained to my satisfaction what was done and the impacts. I hope i don't need to see him again but if the need arises he will be my first choice.

Dr Riley was very caring and upfront with me regarding the risks I faced in having this surgery. Without it I would not be here today. He literally rebuilt my heart. I am ever grateful to have had him as my surgeon.

Dr. Riley was recommended to me through my pulmonologist. He is absolutely fabulous! He has incredible bedside manner. I was very nervous about my upcoming lung surgery, and had many tears. Dr. Riley took the time to answer all my questions. He made me feel more at ease and is very caring. My surgery went incredibly well and my recovery has been amazing! At my followup appointment, Dr. Riley again took the time to answer my questions. He is very caring and a very good at what he does. I highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Dr. Riley because of his knowledge of the surgical procedures he performs, and he takes the time to explain everything relative to your diagnosis and treatment in understandable terms.

I had an unexpected complication with my heart and Dr. Riley was the surgeon. I was so scared and he sat by me and listened to my concerns with special care and compassion, he allowed me to hold his hand, he allowed me to pray right before surgery. He explained everything very thoroughly and was never rushed. Surgery went perfect. A friend of mine who is a physician's assistant assists in the operating room for him and after I told her that he was the one who operated on me...her comment was: "HE IS AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!" I could not agree any more. Dr. Riley, thank you for your compassion and dedication to helping those who really need your skills and your bed-side manners. Dr Riley spent alot of time with me and really got to know me. He is a great Dr but isn't the best at filling out my paperwork I needed to get paid for disability. Not really good at paperwork, but a really good dr.
