Dr. Robert Thomas Rowney, DO

Zero concern for whether a patient's own pets die because he keeps them locked up in a psych unit (not hard to imagine that's not great for the patient's mental health), comes up with flimsy excuses to hold them there when other psychiatrists say the patient is probably okay to go, condescending, and makes up new reasons by the day to keep them locked up.

The guy saved my life in 2014.

Dr. Rowney is such a great psychiatrist. I often wonder what made him want to specialize in psychiatry, because whatever it was, it has led him to be the best of the best. He really cares, listens, and makes every effort to help. He is a real-life, normal guy and not some far-out, hard to talk to psychiatrist. No offense to those guys, they are brilliant too, but Dr. Rowney has the brilliance and the bedside manner like nobody else. I am really grateful to have him as a part of my treatment.
