Robert Santos, MD

This is an excellent internist who is informed. He is personable, intelligent, prompt, kind, sensitive, and concerned when you are ill. He works a lot of hours, but he is always there for you. I'd give him a 5 for sure.

Not certain who the complainer is but question the intent. I have had Dr Santos as my primary since the mid 80's and, to this day, he is exceptional in every way. He listens, he cares, he fulfills his medical evaluations appropriately and has great "bedside manners". He is so popular that it is a little difficult getting in quickly and, because he takes his time with you, you sometimes have to wait a little in the room. It's all worth it. Sadly, I have moved so I no longer will be able to "grow old" with him as my doctor. He will be sorely missed.

I went to see Dr. Santos about some crippling lower back pain. My sciatic had gotten involved and I was experiencing numbness in my leg and foot. He listened to my complaint, examined me and took immediate action. I received some medication to help with the discomfort and received a back brace and follow up physical therapy. Thankfully, I'm fully recovered.

I have gone to this doctor for 20 years and have total confidence in him. We moved to another city and I make the 40 minute drive to see him instead of finding someone new in my area. He is a wonderful, wonderful doctor; caring, knowledgeable, attentive and very personable. I have recommended him to my friends and to my adult children who also go to him now.

This doctor does whatever the insurance carrier wants him to do. Additionally, he is not very smart and gave me incorrect diagnosis several times. He is not kind and does not care about the patient. He will side with the insurance carrier every chance he gets. DO NOT go to him!
