Dr. Robert Wolf Solit, MD

Was a patient of Dr. Solit. Doctor began to remove my gall bladder by laperoscope but had to switch to a more traditional procedure after nicking a vein. Doctor responded quickly to stop the bleeding. After the surgery he had really did not want to answer too many questions on what happened in the OR. At the post op office visit he examined the huge incision for healing. He also decided to grab my breasts and called it a "breast exam". I was taken back by this behavior. The nurse in the exam room could careless of what he was doing. All I could think of is he operated on my gall bladder, why is he grabbing my breasts. That was no exam. I should have reported him then. Doctor should consider retirement. I was surprised that he is still practicing medicine.

We had 3 appointments in last month, Doctor spent less than 5 minutes total in each appointment. Did not even know I was repeat patient even after looking it up. Very off hand, uncaring and, worse, pretty much useless. Exam room doors are open a lot of the time, so you can hear him talking to other patients in same manner. Kept complaining about his "stickers" ( you had to be there, would be funny if it weren't so serious and sad).
