Dr. Robert Dionne Thomas, MD

My grandma is 95 years and needed a prescription refilled during the covid outbreak. Obviously with being 95 the chances of getting an illness are a lot higher. Especially if you have half a brain and have been watching the news. So this so called Dr. Robert Thomas made my 95 year old grandma come in vs refilling a prescription she’s been on for years. Not even a 30 day to post pone visit. I wouldn’t let this guy look at my ingrown toenail. Very poor professionalism. Would highly search elsewhere for doctors.

I will not character bash, but I long for the days of when Dr. Ledbetter was our small town doctor. He looked out for the well being of the patient and knew about them, their families, etc. If all of the doctors in Kearney, Mo hadn't already gone corporate, I would leave the office I have been going to for 1/2 my life.

What used to be a small town "family" oriented doctors office, now has a corporate face. What used to be simple is now made difficult by the way the office is run. This starts at the top and is mandated by Dr. Thomas. What was once a phone call, is now a mandatory appointment for something as simple as blood test results. This is ridiculous. I will not get into character bashing, but Dr. Thomas is seriously lacking in people skills. I long for the days of Dr. Ledbetter.

Great physician. Friendly, prompt, excellent knowledge! Loved by my kids and husband too.
