Dr. Robert Patrick Yeatts, MD

This doctor performed wound closure on lower eyelid and on a spot on upper lip. It was a terrible experience. Terrible interaction skills. He hovered over my face for over an hour and never said one word to me. No explanations about what he was doing. He only spoke to a doc in training while I was there. After the surgery, he left the room and allowed the trainee to bandage my eye. The trainee wrapped it so tight that the pain was excruciating until I could get home and loosen the bandage. I truly despise this doctor and would never go back to him. An after effect of all this is that I have eyelashes that grow inside the lid and toward my eyeball. It is like having granules of sand in my eye all the time. The simple procedure on my lip left a large scar (from a very minor wound). He made it worse. There was great deal of tension between the nurses and Yeatts. An overall horrible experience. This is the kind of person who should not be practicing medicine.

Just returned from Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital where Dr. Yeatts performed reconstructive surgery on my lower eyelid. I am so glad that I was referred there from the Tri-Cities area. Dr. Yeatts is a ROCK Star to me. He literally rebuilt my eyelid and you really can't tell it at all. My eyelid appears like it has not been touched. I give all the praise and glory to God for allowing me to find him!
