I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone

Very unhappy with her service. She was more of the money she can take not the service she can provide. She send blood works to the lab that she uses not per patient's insurance. Very dissapointed.

DO NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR. SHE IS A MONEY HUNGRY DOCTOR. SHE WILL CHARGE YOUR 100 BUCKS IF YOU CANCEL THE APPT WITHIN THE 48 HRS.

Catus only cares about money. I was a long term patient of hers. I had waited many many times in her office for over an hour. Some times i had to leave and she charged me a 100 dollar fee for not being seen. Then after I paid that a few times i was determined not to have to again. I called and canceled an appointment and the receptionist didn't note it. So when I returned for my next visit she said I had a missed appointment fee of 25dollars and refused to listen to me. I said I wanted to talk to catus about this and she then told me that she wouldn't see me until i paid the fee to be seen. I of course left and didnt get seen. I figured catus would talk to me. She didnt return my calls, emails or anything but she did send me a letter saying she was dropping me as a client for not following her suggested plan and I owed her over 200.00 for missed appointments. She was and still is a huge butt hole about the situation. Its one my credit and it will be forever because I will not… pay it! Dont go to her. I have a new doctor now and she said my previous doctor (catus) did not treat my physical situation the best. STAY AWAY!!!!

After going to Rochelle Catus for 11 years I have been treated the worst in the last 13 months by her and her staff. The Receptionist Tammy is by far the nasties receptionist I have ever met and her behavior is condoned by Catus. Notice I didn't say "Doctor" because that she is not.

I was a patient of Dr. Catus. I complained about waiting, and no changes have occurred. I've tried scheduling exams in the Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings, and each time, I've waited about an hour in the waiting room followed by 30 minutes in a paper gown in an exam room only to spend 10 minutes with Dr. Catus examining me.Once I arrived for a morning appointment at 09:00, and was in a paper gown waiting to be examined by Dr. Catus, and she wasn't in the office. Around 09:45, I heard her greeting the staff with a "Good Morning".I believe Dr. Catus is trying to squeeze as many patients as she can into a day to make as much money as possible. If you leave because you can't wait, you will be billed for 25.00 if you are an existing patient or 100.00 if you are a new patient.Again, if you like to wait, then this is the doctor for you.

I have been a patient of Dr Catus' for nearly 20 years. During that time I have had many visits and interactions with her office. Dr Catus has been very responsive to my needs. She has a great bedside manor and is very thorough. Though she is busy she has answered my questions, while I was in the office. She has even called to discuss my care late in the evening.She is tough and holds me accountable if I miss appointments or don't take care of myself like I know I should. I have even received a letter where she was going to release me from her care because I had missed to many appointments.Here staff for the most part have been pretty good. On the few occations over the 20 years when I have had a concern, I have spoken to Dr Catus or the manager Sharon and have resolved my differences. When one of the issues had to do with the way I was treated by an office staff member, Dr Catus had that person call me and make appology.Yeah I can go to another office and get seen a lot faster… but I have never met a doctor, that works so hard to take care of her patients.

She only cares about money not your health. If you owe her money she will refuse to see you or continue to put you off as a way of punishment for not paying her on time. I would not recomend her to my worst enemy. Her staff is trained to have the same nasty attitude as she.

In short, the doctor has her cousin as her office manager and billing person. Said cousin cannot seem to submit claims correctly to insurance or submit correctly into the office's own billing system. This results in the patient having to do a lot of leg work and phone calls to get claims corrected, or be billed fees that they really don't owe.This has happened to me so many times over the past 5 years that I'm beginning to think that it's not ineptitude, but rather an actual effort to see how much money people will pay rather than investigating what their insurance should be covering, were the claims submitted correctly.Claims are submitted incorrectly and bills sent out to the patient even after it's said to multiple staff how a visit needs to be coded. Also, the doctor in the last visit, after being told to write the prescriptions for 3 month mail order, wrote one correctly and one incorrectly. This, in effect, cost me $65 for one tube of medication when it would have been $75 for 3… tubes. She'd been writing the same 2 prescriptions for mail order for at least 2 years, and I'd just told her again in the exam room what I needed. So there's no excuse other than she just is too distracted or doesn't care. Her wait times are easily in excess of 45 minutes in the waiting room plus another 15 in the actual exam room. That's been the same sad case for years. And now that she doesn't deliver babies, there's really no excuse for that either.

I became a new patient of Dr Catus a couple of weeks ago. To date, I still do not have my lab results, and to make matters worse, I was newly diagnosed with genital herpes on my first visit with her and she not only had NO bedside manner, she acted as though I was taking up her "valuable time" and when I nervously asked her to clarify something, she coldly replied, "I've already told you the answer to that question!" and left many unanswered questions. I have been humiliated, aggravated & frustrated beyond words! Her staff has been just as unprofessional and uncaring as the dr over the past week. I have NEVER been answered when calling about questions regarding herpes OR my other outstanding test results by phone & have been told & I quote, "I don't have time for this", "I'm not qualified to answer that question, I'll have the dr give you a call back", "The dr isn't in, the nurse practitioner will call you back", "I told you the DR will call YOU back when she's read your chart",… "You are NOT the only patient Dr Catus has"...and STILL, have had no reply regarding (already hard to ask) questions about genital herpes or my lab results, which the phelobotomist who took my blood at her office said would be there 7 days ago....these are VERY important tests-HIV, syphillus, hepatitis C and other serious STD's, including a cancer screening, and I STILL have unanswered questions about my newly diagnosed case of herpes, which has been as much mentally draining as it has physically. Dr Catus and her office staff has made this much more difficult for me to deal with, ashamed that I contracted herpes in the first place and extremely worried about all the other STD's I've been tested for without any reply or concern from the office. I'm going to continue to call on a daily basis until I get the lab results, then, have all of my records transferred to another GYN to review.
