Dr. Rochelle Sargeant-Hardy, MD

I think that that Dr. Hardy is great. But every time I have been in the office there is some sort of clerical or admin error. First, it was the staff didn’t input my insurance information so I am receiving these huge bills from their office, despite me presenting my insurance information on the first day. Second, I was sent for a radiology appointment without the order being filled out completely. When the radiologist office tried to reach Dr. Hardy’s office they did not answer the phone for over 30 minutes. I finally had to get in my car and drive to Dr.Hardy’s office to get the order updated. When I explained the situation to the front desk, I didn’t get so much as an apology or an explanation for anything. I at least hoped to hear “we apologize” for how much I had to go though to get this done. It was all unnecessary. There was no concern at all. I am a patient, obviously with a health concern, I really should be able to expect better treatment.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hardy since I was in my twenties I'm now in my fifties. She is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and keeps abreast of all the latest medical changes, she makes you feel comfortable when taking about your health issues, and when she sits with you she explain your situation in plain English so you understand. She generally cares about you as a person and works with you to reach your health goals. I have recommend Dr. Hardy to several co-workers and family members.

Dr. Hardy and Ms. Clark are very good. She listens to our concerns and give us advice and recommendations. She takes the time to explain her diagnosis. I refer my friends to her and switched all my children to her as well.

I have been going to Dr Hardy for years, but I have only seen her a couple times. It is very difficult to get an appointment with her, I always have to see her assistant. The wait times are long about 30 -40 minutes. I have had billing issues with them not billing my insurance and not finding out until months later from their collection division. The staff is friendly.

It is very difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Hardy and often times patients have to meet with the physician's assistant. Aside from not being able to meet with Dr. Hardy, there is typically a 30 minute wait; even if you have an appointment. This happened every time I had an appointment. There is no sense of urgency or consideration of patients schedule. Therefore, I would not recommend Dr. Hardy to any patient.

Overall I enjoy the services provided by Dr. Hardy and the staff in the office. The only issue is respect for time, when arriving for an appointment. The usual wait time for me has been from 20 - 40 minutes before being seen.
