Dr. Rodney A. Radtke, MD

My condition has dragged on for many years now. I believe most of the doctors I saw were blind and deaf. Dr. Radtke has succeeded in relieving my condition where others have failed. It is clear that he is willing to leave no stone unturned to find the best treatment. He truly sets the example that others should follow.

Although actually double booked, Dr Radke gave as much time as needed. He took a detailed history to see what was correct approach after my first set of seizures. He always responded within a day when called, and adjusted prescription immediately & set up new appointment!

For all of the appointments I have had with him it seems as though he is there to get me in and out as soon as possible. I timed my last appointment with him and it was for 9 minutes and 17 seconds. It seems as if he hardly reviews my chart before my appointment.

Although I feel he is managing my epilepsy very well, I find him to be quite cold at times. He spends as much time as I need with him at each appt., but he lacks a sense of humor! Sometimes it takes him 3 or more days to respond to my email, which has proven to be the only way to get in touch with him if I'm having problems or have a question. His secretary never answers the phone--I'm always sent to voice mail when I call.
