Brought my father in and he ended up liking Doctor Protacio. Will bring him back again for his follow up check up.

Just called his office during off hours and left a message. The doctor called me right away.

Doctor and his nurse practitioners are very patient and concerned.

He makes me feel like I'm family. This is the ideal patient doctor relationship that I wanted. My prior doctor didn't even bother taking the time to sit with me and explain my health. Doctor Protacio, however, changed my perspective on physicians. He makes me feel comfortable and open to sharing what I'm exactly feeling.

I have a family member in a convalescent center and he does not even care to see how she is doing health wise.

I took my mom to this doctor's office per my aunt's recommendation - I had my appointment within 1 week. We waited 30 min to be seen and once inside the examination room, my mother was examined thoroughly, blood test, x- rays , ekg, mammogram, bone density, colonoscopy, and x ray of chest - we were given follow up appointment to discuss results after 1-2 weeks ( fastest follow up appt I/ve ever had). He was able to gain my mother's trust with his kind, well mannered words. No wonder he has a lot of patients. It was well worth the wait.

Once when the doctor was away I needed a prescription refilled on an emergency basis. They could not refer me to any other doctor, and his staff finally arranged for me to talk to him on the phone. Bottom line, he didn't believe I had a problem and wrote a prescription for 2 pills when I needed more than 6. I ended up going to the hospital ER instead.
