I am writing this review on behalf of a close friend who was seen by Dr. De Sousa and left the appointment in tears without so much as a tissue being offered. My friend came in with a well-documented history of an autoimmune condition, having been diagnosed by multiple physicians and having experienced significant relief on biologics for two years. Rather than reviewing her history or engaging with her concerns, Dr. De Sousa dismissed her prior diagnoses, told her that two years of relief from a biologic was simply a "placebo effect," and offered no meaningful treatment plan- only a recommendation to take 800mg of ibuprofen twice daily. She left without answers, without support, and without any next steps. For a patient dealing with a chronic autoimmune condition who came in vulnerable and hoping for help, this experience was genuinely harmful. I would strongly encourage anyone- particularly those with complex autoimmune conditions- to seek care elsewhere. 0 stars.

Dr. De Sousa is excellent. He has given me exceptional treatment with my arthritic condition. So knowledgeable and takes time to make sure you understand every aspect if your condition.

Dr. DeSousa is an excellent physician. He is knowledgeable, explains things, answers questions, and is never rushed. In addition, he is kind and friendly. Absolutely the best!

Wonderful doctor and staff

I actually came to this clinic because of a recommendation and if ever I have an opportunity, I would recommend it too. Between me and 1 of my children we have at least 10 doctors, my Dr here is the fastest, by far. I'm actually surprised every time. And happy too!

Dr. DeSousa really listens to my concerns and genuinely cares about my perspectives on treatment. He seems very invested in his patients well being. He is one of my favorite doctors!

I have rheumatoid arthritis and several other conditions. I was diagnosed 32 years ago and I think in that time, I have seen most of the rheumatologist in the area. This doctor is the by far the best. I have referred him many times and will continue to do so. He is caring, extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and proactive. I have been his patient for several years. If he ever leaves the area, I think I will have to move too.

Great rheumatologist. Knowledgeable and listens. I've been to other rheumatologists who don't provide the same care. Would definitely recommend him.
