Dr. Roger Wayne Boatwright, MD

Yes, This doctor is starting to play some games with me. Well guess what, I'm being billed for seeing a specialist which he is not. I have been paying them a copay on my insurance is stating he is not a pain management specialist therefore they cannot bill that way. The next step is me visiting and complaining to the State Attorney Generals office about what they are doing and how they are doing it. I'm tired of wondering if I'm going to get the Ax for something I never done. They better watch their P&Q's so to speak. Or I will bring them into the light and have them shut down. They will end up owing me money for billing not the proper way,

I also was sent to this pain medicine facility about 3 months ago. He has taken me off the meds I was on and put me on other meds, which caused me problems. When I called to let him know, nobody would get back to me, you can only talk to receptionist. I am now on a 12 hour Extended Release pain med that is not working for me. I call and call and they say he will get back to me. No Response from nurse or Dr.. I also have fibro, which he told me he knows nothing about it. I have had Severe Pain issues for going on 8 yrs. now due to auto accident and three surgeries. The State of Addiction is a real shame and is for real, I understand. But my family Dr. has been with me thru all these years he knows me, I do not feel this place is helping anybody.

While being a disabled person with social Security insurance, I started to see Dr. Roger Boatwright as my pain specialist at Pain Medication of York. After almost 6 months of being under his care, and noticing the lack of knowledge for chronic pain diseases and injuries as well as the medication used to treat them I looked up his credentials to find out he does not actually specialize in pain medicine. However, as my insurance does not allow me to see most pain specialists, I now must have my health care and pain medications monitor (but mostly just cut or eliminated completely) by a physician who clearly does not understand chronic pain or complications as well as medications that could go into the field he is now practicing. Is lack of understanding and knowledge hinders his ability to treat those with chronic pain issues in a proper fashion. After just a few months as his patient and knowing how others feel about him and the way he practices medicine, we all believe he… should just go back into the obstetric community as he has no idea how to help those dealing with chronic pain. He is a horrible doctor when it comes to pain medication and treatments. After 10 years and over 2 dozen doctors & pain specialists, he has not just failed at helping me to control my pain that has actually caused it to get worse no idea what he does or how to communicate with his patients.

Dr. Boatwright has wonderful bedside manner. He truly cares for his patients. he delivers the information in a caring yet thorough way and ensures timely follow up. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an OB/GYN!

Dr. Boatwright is an incredible physician and person. He always took time to answer my questions and work with me on any issue I might have. He was always caring, and compassionate. I would never want to work with another physician, but unfortunately, Memorial Hospital is closing the OBGYN practice in York. It is really horrible that we have a doctor in the area who is willing to give one-on-one attention, and his practice is closed. There are no other options out there for women who want a small, personal, experience. I love Dr. Boatwright and hope he stays in the area so he can deliver my next baby!

Found Dr, Boatwright very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and, most importantly, delivered me a beautiful, healthy baby girl!

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr Boatwright. He is patient and kind and very knowledgeable. In reading the other negative comment it is hard to believe they are talking about Dr Boatwright. I have had the exact opposite experience. I would, and have, refer anyone to Dr. Boatwright
