Dr. Roger A Macduff, DO

Dr. MacDuff USED to be my favorite dr. I recommended every woman I know to him but over the last several years he has fallen to my least favorite. Guess he is too busy to care about his patients anymore. Maybe he has more patients than he can handle and is trying to lose a few. Two years ago, I needed to see him but his appointments were 9 months out. I really wanted to only see him so I figured I could wait. 2 weeks before my appointment, his office left me a message that he needed to cancel and I should call for a new appointment. Whelp, they couldn't squeeze me in and made a new appointment for 9 months away. I sent a Mychart message telling him my problem and can he give me something until my appointment comes. No response at all. I sent a 2nd message and again, zero response. I tried one more time, a nurse responded. Said she would ask him and get back to me. No response. I should have quit him then but still liked him so I stayed. Now, today, I have a simple yes/no question since… my scheduled (and soon to be canceled) appointment is still 6 months away. Messaged the office 3 weeks ago. Got an immediate response from the nurse... she will ask him and let me know. No response. A week later asked again. Again got the same response from the nurse and again, no response since. I am so very disappointed, he used to be top notch, now I tell every woman I know to see any doctor other than MacDuff. He is the Worst!

I was so lucky to have Dr. McDuff during my labor experience. He has been there for my entire family prenatal and postnatal. Amazing dr! Will be my new gynecologist ??

I have had 5 different doctors. After a few miscarriages I decided to look for the best Dr. in IL. I met with Dr. Macduff once who referred me to a specialist. He was nice during that visit. After learning I was pregnant, I tried to schedule an appointment with him and thats when the nightmare started. The nurses were no help and I was told making an appointment with him was not "how it worked". With a high risk pregnancy, they ended up not seeing me based on the decision of a Dr. who was not my Dr. in first place. I would not recommend this office especially if you are looking for a Dr. and staff who care about you and don't see you just as another number.

Was admitted to hospital from ER and required emergency abdominal surgery. I had never been seen by this doctor prior but he came in very calm and had thoroughly reviewed my medical history and spoken to my primary care provider. He went through everything with me and we agreed on a plan. He was thoughtful and kind and although I had to end up with an open surgery I felt comfortable with his care. He was at my bedside in recovery to tell me he could not do the surgery laparoscopicly. He followed up each day and after surgery. Dr. MacDuff was a Godsend and is a remarkable doctor and person. I can't say enough about how wonderful and caring he is. He truly is wonderful at his job and cares about his patients.

I have been seeing Dr. MacDuff for the past 20 years for my annual check up. He is a wonderful and caring doctor. I am very happy that I have access to such a great doctor.

I have never written a review of any kind before - but wanted to say I think Dr. MacDuff is the best, more caring doctor I have ever had. I have been having my annual check up for last 18 years with Dr. MacDuff. Each time is a good experience. I always feel that Dr. MacDuff truly cares about my health. He explains all issues clearly. I recommend him w/o reservation.

In my experience, Dr. Macduff does not seek out the reason why a specific symptom is occurring. He prescribes you medications without any explanation for your symptoms and tells you any emergency just go to walk in clinic.

left 4 messages and no calls back for 3 weeks!! Completely unacceptable

MacDuff is by far my favorite doctor I've ever seen in any field. He is thorough and intelligent, and truly listens to you. He is also very down to earth and realistic when giving advice.

best OB/GYN in the elmhurst group. Out of the 5 OB's on staff, he is the most caring, sincere and imformative. He always gave me the answers i was looking for. where as the others come off cold and uncaring. He knows his stuff, is very also extremely cute!! He remembered me each visit and treated me like he honestly cared about me and how I was feeling. I LOVE Dr. MacDuff. I would strongly recommend him to everyone!
