Dr. Roger Lawrence Ong, MD

First off, I have an extensive medical history so I definitely know what I’m talking about as I’ve experienced a variety of doctors and specialists in my lifetime. My husband was assigned to him through Kaiser. While he appeared intellectual, the best way I can describe him (I’m a Psychologist, btw) is that he is extremely rigid. Every possible scenario my husband presented him, his reply was “There is a class at Kaiser for that”. He lacked the inability to think outside the box, displayed extreme rigidity, and had very poor interpersonal skills. If you don’t mind a Dr that doesn’t try to meet your needs on an individual and unique level, than he is someone you can go to. Overall, he is very very average, talks super fast, and sounds like he reads straight from a textbook while lacking human analysis and adaptability. We switched doctors today because I do not want my husband to have that kind of care.

When my previous Primary Care Physician moved to another office, I was happy to change my PCP to Dr Ong as I've always felt he was courteous, caring and succinct. He is very clear in his diagnosis and takes the time to explain things. I would highly recommend him.
