Dr. Roger Marks Shea, MD

Dr. Shea and his staff exceeded my expectations. They are professional, prompt, caring with good attitudes, and extremely dependable, calling me back and getting me in on very short notice. Dr. Shea took the time to explain and answer my questions despite his busy practice. I highly recommend him and his staff not only for pediatrics but for their adult family members. Sunday my hearing was reduced and Monday it was worse. I called Adept Audiology to unclog my ear and got an appointment Tuesday. They found it was a loss of hearing and made an emergency appointment for me with Dr Shea the same day. He determined I needed a steroid treatment immediately. Two followups a week apart and my hearing was restored! Couldn't ask for better results.

I’ve seen Dr Shae a few times over the years with good results. The front desk person they have now is rude. She reprimanded me for not calling for entry to the office. (guess this is their Covid policy and they have a small sign right outside the door that I did not see). She was sarcastic about it and rude. Several other patients came in after me and they did not call Lynn but she was not rude and did not question them. I guess she picks and chooses who she’s going to be rude to. Also when I called to make my follow up appointment she gave me the third degree and acted like she did not want to make the appointment. I don’t understand what’s going on with this office!

Dr. Shea is amazing with kids! My daughter had to have something removed from her ear canal and after two other people tried to remove the foreign object, she was pretty much traumatized and the mere mention of someone touching her ear caused panic and a flood of tears. The first time we met with Dr. Shea, he could see how terrified she was and did not want to make her fear worse. He informed us that the object was not hurting anything in its current spot and told us to make an appt. for a later date to see if she was calmer or if it came out on its own. Fast forward to today... my daughter still panicking and in tears awaiting the appointment. He did not pressure her at all, but was very reassuring and sweet. He showed her where it was on a special camera and asked her to let him try and he would stop anytime she wanted. I could see she was reluctant but finally agreed. He was very skilled and gentle and got it out with no issue. It's a huge relief in our home, and I think this… positive experience will encourage her to trust medical professionals in the future. Thanks Dr. Shea!!!

Dr Shea did my daughters ear tubes and is always there when I need to get a hold of him. He’s a master of his craft. Nothing but positive things to say about him

We had the best experience with Dr. Shea! He is a great doctor, great with babies, let's you text/call him anytime, and has a great bedside manner. It's hard to find a doctor that embodies all of those traits in one person. We saw him for our 9-month old baby getting ear tube surgery. We had two visits at his office before the surgery, and Dr. Shea was very informative about the surgery and was so sweet with our baby. Dr. Shea gives you his cell phone and let's you know you can call him anytime, I even talked to him on a Saturday morning, honestly they were simple questions, about our baby having a cold, that I could have just asked my pediatrician about - but Dr. Shea was there for us. On surgery day he was great. He talks so sweet to your baby, makes you feel so comfortable, lets you stay with your baby as long as possible and comes to get you as soon as possible after the surgery. He even went out of his way to do the surgery on a day he wasn't planning on being at the hospital. He… definitely puts his patients first and does anything for them (did I mention the cell phone, scheduling us in on a day he wasn't doing surgery, and being so helpful along the way). Now that we have the ear tubes in, we are scheduled to go back for an office visit. We can not wait to tell Dr. Shea about what a great experience we had with him and all the hospital staff who helped us, and our baby has been beyond happy since the day we brought him home from ear tube surgery! I'd recommend everyone to go see Dr. Shea!

Best experience I have ever had. Very professional, Doctor Shea truly cares about his patients and treats them like a priority.
