Dr. Roger Charles Willette, MD

I have interacted with MANY doctors in my career. I bring my family members here because he dotes on them, and they like that. My family does not have medical background and feel he is doing them right, because they like to talk, and he lets them. I have attended many of their appointments; other than a stethoscope to hear their breath sounds and using the end of it to test for regular reflexes, and asking them how they are doing, no other assessments are done unless he is prompted. A good doctor should be looking you all over, examining you with more than their eyes, asking questions! A good doctor is not told by the family member, "she mentioned to you, there was swelling in the legs, can you please look at that." Swelling in the legs is generally a cardiac issue, he sent her to the dermatologist... wrong specialty!! If you have high blood pressure and its not controlled, you should be referred to a cardiologist, not try to be managed by your primary! The specialty doctors are there… because they know that organ in and out!!! Another physician has been trying to coordinate care for my family member with this Dr, and he will not return her phone calls. A good doctor wants to collaborate care, and provide holistic care for you. Find yourself a good doctor, I would recommend passing on this one!

Dr. Roger Willette is an excellent doctor who is very caring and understanding and extremely knowledgeable in his field. Amazing staff! He gave my husband and I his undivided attention. He spoke sign language which most do not.

Misdiagnosis almost cost a life. Should be stripped of all credentials.

Explained to Dr. Willette what my diagnoses and he misdiagnosed me and sent me to do unnecessary test. He did not listen. Instead tried to move me into his research. I went to another physician who properly diagnosed me and I am doing much better.Dr. Willette only cares about raking up his charges by getting you into unrelated research in his office and having test done that are unnecessary and places he receives kickbacks.

Dr Willette was our family physician.I am having a difficult time even writing this review. I wish no one has to go through what my family had do, all because of Dr Willette. We went to him for months repeatedly, with my son's lower back pain. He did not do a physical, nor any scans or even blood tests, and kept telling us it was in my son's head. I finally changed our pcp and the new doctor diagnosed within a day that my son had cancer, it was already in stage 4. We went through months of chemo and multiple surgeries, and my son is doing well now and is a wonderful young man. I can not even imagine what would have happened if we had stayed with Dr Willetee. If he reads this review, he will know exactly who I am, I trusted him with my son's life and he betrayed us. I hope he learnt a lesson from our experience, and listens to his patients now, and does not play with their lives with his casual attitude. Please do not trust him, listen to your gut and get a second opinion, sooner than… later.

Dr. Willette is an extremely knowledgeable physician. I feel completely confident in his care and have been with him for 20 years. He also has a sense of humor, which helps the patient feel at ease.

Dr. Willette is one of the few physician's left that truely cares about his patients. He is always kind, courteous and very professional. I highly recommend him.
