However, his office staff is another story, they are rude and disregard all good practice for patient care. After a 20-year relationship with him the staff never noted my yearly appt-- only the six-month-- which I already had a conflicting doctor appointment and canceled. When his office didn't authorize my PX I was able to get appt for the next week. Upon arriving at our scheduled office appointment, we waited 15 mins then was told by office manager that Dr. Fair refuses to be his doctor and I’m been let go as a patient with no other reasoning. They also call the hospital police on my daughter who asks to speak with the doctor. We were kicked out because my daughter filed a complaint about the office staff with the hospital CEO office the week before when the staff refuse to let her leave a voicemail for the doctor or his nurse. The office manager said she would personally give Dr. Fair the message. No call was ever returned by the doctor or his nurse that week. I’m no longer able… to drive (almost 87) and must rely on my daughter to drive me. Feel totally betrayed if he is aware of what his staff is doing that’s unethical and irresponsible.

Dr. Fair is wonderful, very attentive and caring. Having said that, the office staff at DIMA is much less so. I recently had a visit with the Drs' PA, as i waited in the lobby i could hear the woman at registration and Jamie(?) discussing my visit. Jamie went out of her way to be as rude, condescending and passive aggressive as she could get away with and this is not the first time. As much as I love Dr. Fair, i would have to recommend others find an office with more compassionate staff/mgmt

This practice is on a downhill slide. Long waits when you have an appointment, Dr. Fair does not keep current in his field, and I needed a shot on the last visit and they had to go get someone else to give it to me because his nurse isn't even a nurse! Time to move on.

I'm 67. I have lived in 5 states and in 5 of the 10 largest cities in Texas. My office experience with Dr. Fair and staff is by far among the best I've ever had anywhere.

I looked long and hard for a primary care physician that would listen to me and coordinate my care accordingly to my health history, and follow-up on me and Dr. Fair is all of these as well as easy to talk to.

Very rude on call doctor. Provides no assistance whatsoever and tells me to call and get another PCP if I'm not happy about his response of doing nothing. What a jerk! Such an inconsiderate response when my family is in need of assistance!
