Dr. Rohini Roni Alay, MD

I've been going to Dr. Alay for around a year and a half now. In the beginning she was nice, she seemed competent. Then I started having health issues that couldn't be fixed with a prescription. Incredible pain in my side where I had previously had my gall bladder out. She ordered and x-ray and when she didn't find anything on that she prescribed me some pain medicine, it didn't work and i didn't like taking it so I went back in and she told me to relax and we would see where how it felt in 6 months. So I find another doctor. First of the year I get a phone call confirming an appt. that I didn't make. I cancel it and she makes another. So I go in and cancel it. They try to get me to see the doctor that day to cancel it, but I would have to pay the co-pay. Also every time I'm in there the pharmacist tries to get me to fill my prescriptions there, even though I've politely told him no many times.

The office manager is very rude.

Ahh! Thought I'd found a primary care Dr. Boy, was I wrong. Was called back & daughter got up to go back with me, as always. She was stopped & told she'd have to wait & sign a HIPPA form first!! Nurse (?) weighed me then took me into a room to get family history. I told her my mother & her sister died of breast ca. She reminded me that Aunts,etc weren't allowed in family history! She ask why I was there, I told her 1.stomach/colon 2.nodes coming up in bends of both arms & bend of left leg 3. lesion on top of head. I signed HIPPA release & daughter comes in. I had past path reports with me & was ready to show her it was past time to have 1 blood work done, to show her all prior fasting glucose had been elevated & that I had been diagnosed in past with sarcoidosis. Dr. comes in & saw my 3 complaints & quickly informed me "ONLY 2 COMPLAINTS PER VISIT"!! I was bumfuzzled!! She said those were her rules & for me to decide if I wanted her for a Dr. It didn't take me a second to decide NO!!… I got off the table & walked out for my ins. card & Drivers License. The receptionist had already given them to her little pharmacy!! I got them back & was out of there!! What's funny, I received a letter from her that SHE had dropped ME as a patient!! NEWSFLASH for her--I was the one who walked out AND when I'm there--she's working for me NOT the other way around!! I'm almost bedridden from lack of medical treatment. I didn't expect an hour but at least examine my concerns!! If I'm not mistaken, I believe lab work is considered 1 of your 2 problems. Thanks but NO THANKS!!!!

doctor has a very nice personality.easy to get along with.highly recommend.
