Years ago Dr. Footer did a bad bonion surgery on my foot. Per his recommendation I returned for follow ups. It was obvious his surgery was very poor, but he acted very charming and friendly to distract my husband and I from the subject. My husband pointed out that Dr. Footer did not resolve the bonion problem. Dr. Footer told my husband not to come with me to my future appointments. While waiting to see Dr. Footer, I met 4 patients who told me their bonion have returned several times after multiple surgeries by Dr. Footer. If a bonion ectomy is done correctly, it should not return. I made another appointment with another doctor in the same office when Dr. Footer was out of town, this doctor told me, there was a problem with this surgery. I asked the office to give me my full medical report but they refused. So I went to see the very famous Dr. Mark Myerson of Mercy hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Myerson is an orthopeadic surgeon for foot and ankle only. He is not a… podiatrist. Dr. Myerson said this surgery is very bad and he showed us on a computer measurement screen and said the computer does not lie. Dr. Myerson operated on my bonion and did an excellent job.
