I was a patient of Dr. Samess when he was in practice in coral springs, was so sad when he closed that practice and even thought of driving to Marathon to continue with him, but sadly I didn't. Marathon gained a wonderful doctor

Great doctor, and a good man. Truly compassionate and a great staff.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Samess office for several years now when we are in the keys. Dr. Samess diagnosed my husband with diabetes and basically saved his life and spent time giving us education!! Many times I went there without an appointment because either my husband or myself were sick and they always told us to "go ahead and sign in" with a pleasant attitude. Our family Dr. makes us wait at least a month for an appointment !! This office is fantastic!! They are there when you need them!!! Jamie offers to come out and help my husband pushing him up their wheelchair ramp and she is very cheerful and caring. I have found they go the extra mile for us!! Sharon gives us a warm greetings and Margarita the Nurse is caring towards us and the BEST PHLEBOTOMIST !!! My husbands veins are impossible to find and she finds that vein immediately every time!! I appreciate their office staff and Dr. Samess is a great Dr. !!! I recommended them to my neighbor and … she was so pleased with her treatment there.

I had a very pleasent visit with Dr samess and his office staff, Margarita was so compassonate with me and my husband! The receptionist was amazing too! The Dr was very accurate with my diagnosis and was very thorough with explaining everything to me ! I highly recommend this office!!!!!!!!!!

Scheduled an appointment at 3:15pm on 08/04/2014 for my wife that is having an allergic reaction, but not in an emergency sense. I arrived at Dr. Samess's office to first wait and then be told by Jamie and staff that they do not have me on the schedule and someone named Robin needs to go home early. I called back the number that I had called from my past calls on my phone to verify that I did in deed make an appointment with the right office, to have Jamie answer and tell us the same thing. They refered me to another clinic that could not take me. They WILL NOT provide their patients anything beyond an average experience..and in my case a below average experience. Any business that makes an error like this should accommodate their patients, by either fitting them in that day or offer some type of incentive to still remain their client. I,myself, was a patient with dr samess's office until today,along with my wife and I will no longer go to them, they have been less than thorough with… the 3 examinations that I have had in the past.

The staff is horrible. I have only lived in Marathon for six months. I needed a new doctor. I had the same wonderful doctor with the best staff, Dr. Marc Loundy, in Sarasota, Fl for ten years. I made the mistake of assuming that all doctors and staff would treat me with the utmost respect. After all, it is my body and my hard earned money I am spending. It took Dr. Amanda's office staff two months, after my initial visit, to obtain my medical records from Sarasota. I wish they had reminded me to obtain these records when I set up my first appointment. Needless to say, because I didn't have my medical records from Sarasota, I received no treatment as a result of my first visit at Dr. Samess's office. I was seen by Robin Newell, the NP. She was so busy laughing and talking and trying to figure out the new system on the laptop, that I believe she forgot I was even in the examination room. I made a second appointment , after the receipt of my medical records, and asked to be… seen by the Dr. Samess. Low and behold, they set me up with an appointment with the NP!!!! The medical assistant said she left a message a couple of days prior to the appointment on my home phone. I didn't check my home phone messages. They have my email as well as my cell phone number. I am livid. Time for a new doctor!!!!!!!!!

Doctor has no compassion, uncaring, you're lucky if he listens to what you have to say or asks you a question that he'll actually take into consideration. Doesn't explain a thing & walks out, and really can't mention anything positive about the nurse practitioner either.

This Doctor seems ro know nothing. "Beware" He has to care about something. But I have no idea what that would be. He cares nothing for people (Probably loves himself) My niece had a stroke, over a 3 day period we were told by the hospital staff that she was showing a lot of improvement. Dr.Samess (Dr. ?????) told us that there had not been any improvement and that there would not be any further improvement. We were devestated, we requested a consult with the neurologist who disbuted everthing this Samiss said (Sorry I don't have it in me to call him a Doctor) Please beware of this one.
