Terrible office staff. Never returns calls. Ignores voice mails. The doctor tells me they are busy and they are doing paperwork as a favor to me. Was with former endocrinologist for more than 2 decades. Lasted more than two months with this doctor.

I think he's great!

The absolute worst office staff I have ever encountered. Rarely answer the phone & when they do they transfer you to another party who can’t help you now & will return your call but don’t. Frustrating! Ask your pharmacy about their office staff. I’m sorry I ever went there.

I’d been going to Dr. Villaneuva several years for hypothyroidism. The staff cancelled several appointments.He once yelled @ me for gaining 14 pounds. During each appointment, I asked if my thyroid levels may be a little off. He got very annoyed. The last time I asked him again & he got mad & said “ I’m turning you over to your family doctor.” Guess what??? The first thing the specialist (not my dr.) said was “You’re getting too much synthroid.” The code was lowered immediately. Years of being on the wrong dose bc this dr. didn’t like to be asked a question during the 3 minutes he was in the room was horrible. He should listen!!!! Horrible dr & wouldn’t recommend. Get a fr. who knows what he’s doing & can read labs!

Shocked. My prescription ran out, it happens. Called the number on Friday morning, said they check the prescription voice mail regularly and to leave info there. Was still waiting on Monday so i called and dialed into the front desk. The lady explained that they are backed up several days on the prescription line. Promised to call it in yesterday afternoon (Monday). It’s late afternoon Tuesday and after four days and yet another call earlier today, nothing. A diabetic out of medication for four days. Not fair, not responsible and borderline criminal IMHO.

The doctor is a great doctor his office staff is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They constantly lie saying they do not get things faxed it takes weeks to get your prescriptions refilled. I recommend he should terminate his whole staff at her place it with new office people

Dr. Villanueva he is outstanding in his field, and truly cares about his patients. He takes his time, is very thorough, and answers all my questions. He is a great doctor and a wonderful person. I highly recommend him. Plus his support staff is very helpful and so nice to deal with. A rare find.

Dr Villanueva is wonderful - takes his time, explains everything and talks to you not at you. I highly recommend him. The office staff on the other hand, while very friendly when you are there, it is almost impossible to get anyone on then phone and/or to call you back. It's like playing the lottery to get a prescription refilled, sometimes waiting days for them to get back to the pharmacy. I'm not sure if it's worth the stress....

This office is beyond appalling!! Because they said I had an appointment (did not) I was only given 15 prescription tablets instead of the 45 I needed!! Getting them to understand was beyond the language barrier and I fought with this office for two weeks, was finally given blister pack samples but not enough! They do not return calls for days on end (weeks) they say you have appointments when you don't and they say you don't have an appointment when you do! Too bad because I liked and trusted Dr. V but bye bye stress-inducing awful office!

After numerous years of struggling to get my diabetes under control with my primary care physician I finally decided to see an endocrinologist. Under Dr. Villanueva 's care my diabetes is finally being managed and my diabetes is now under control. He is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer my questions. I should have sought him out sooner! I would highly recommend him.
