Dr. Rosanna Kwingshun Pau, MD

I had visited the ER in pa, Dr. Pau was prompted, courteous, professional and very understanding she took the time to find out what was wrong and proceeded as necessary. If I ever have to go back I hope I see her , because I know I am in good hands!!

I am a retired Family Physician & had a stroke while in the E.R. waiting to be seen by Dr. Pau., who never provided any care. I now have a permanent disability. Dr Pau did not know the difference between a TIA (transient ischemic attack) and a stroke, and had no idea about current stroke management. Her medical judgement was worse than her knowledge. Unknown to me then, two neurologists were in the hospital at the time of my stroke, and she failed to call either one for a stat consultation, which would have relieved her of all other responsibility. Since she did not know how to treat me in a community hospital, she should have quickly transferred me to a University Hospital for definitive treatment. Instead, She argued with me that the treatment "window" with a clot-busting drug for all ischemic strokes was only 3 hours (which she wasted anyway) when, in reality, the treatment window for my area of stroke, according to neurologists who saw me too late, was actually 12 hours! … If she treated another physician this way, what chance does a layman have with her in a true emergency?
