Dr. Roselee Gilbert Cain, MD

She is mentally unstable and she seems to use her patients for her own therapy, telling them her personal problems with her two daughters and ex-husband. She talks about her evil mother and problems in her life that I really didn't care to know. Don't waste your time or resources. She has serious issues.

Medicine is an industry full of corruption; there's no transparency and recourse nor real oversight after medical training--even when a complaint is made. Above all else, doctors cover their butts and cover up for one another; it's a white line of silence and secrecy. This doctor is a menace. It's no wonder she has a private practice in psychiatry; patients who are already in a vulnerable position are on basically on their own in situations where doctors have no real colleagues, take notes inserting fabricated information you cannot audit, use a checklist to mislabel, discredit and malign their patient to defend their bogus billing practices. There are too many examples to list for my commentary of the profession, but my reason I recommend that you avoid going to this doctor all fall under the category of exploitation and abuse. Like this doctor, opportunistic, abusive, lazy people with no desire to help others can ride out 40+ years, sitting in a chair zoning out and… daydreaming, while making a load of money. They justify their actions by pathologizing any individual with the gall to question their so-called work. Sick!

Who else wants to turn this doctor into the medical board for malpractice besides me? A class action suit for unethical, negligent behavior/activities is in order. This doctor should be removed from practicing for so many reasons, foremost because she's dangerous! This is evidenced from my own experience and from reading multiple reviews that indicate a pattern of exploitation and abuse of patients. Doctor Roselee Cain's unethical behavior includes overstepping boundaries and projecting her own psychiatric problems onto her clients, using them as her sounding board to hear herself speak about personal problems, and trying to hook patients--even for those without the condition--on "ADHD" medications to generate a revenue stream for the doctor (or sell on the black market). That way, they keep coming back just for the meds alone while she benefits financially. Psychiatry is filled with more sham quacks than other sub-specialities, but this doc is exceptionally negligence,… egotistical, incompetent, unethical and abusive.

I truly feel sorry for people who are fooled into thinking they are getting care when they are merely just staying hooked on drugs. This doctor prescribes ADHD drugs to anyone--even someone who comes to her without ADHD. (I was referred because I have a chronic illness and sleep disorder.) Why did she try to push ADHD drugs on me for no legit reason? We never spoke about an ADHD diagnosis other than her oversharing problems with her own ADHD, not mine. I learned from a friend after telling her how uncomfortable I was with this doctor that ADHD drugs are coveted for their "upper-like" effect and often sold on the underground to people who want to stay alert. Is this doctor prescribing to patients who are selling their drugs to others so she can retain clients? I can't think of any other reason someone would go back to see this doctor; she clearly doesn't like her job. She counted down the seconds on he clock and ushered me out the door to empty waiting room. Thankfully there was no… talk of a follow-up appointment. I happily moved on to someone else but don't feel I should have been charged for the waste of time.

I found her to be full of misinformation, prescribing unnecessary drugs, and stubborn on opinion, low on knowledge. She has a multiplicity of person problems, especially with her daughters and husband. She uses and buses because she suffers from such complex PTSD yet she will only admit she has ADHD, in my opinion. LOTS OF PERSONAL ISSUES.

I've been going to Dr. Cain for a lot of years and have been very happy with the service and care she provides. She genuinely cares for the patients she see's. She works to help make my finances for health care affordable and works with me to control prescription costs. During our sections she works to provide examples that are pertinent to my life experiences. Dr. Cain is a kind and caring provider and she's very knowledgeable in the medial field.

If I could I would give her a minus star. Please for your own sake do not see this person. She is completely unprofessional, she is mentally unstable. During the 4 visitas I had with her she only talked about her personal problems. Misdiagnosed me and kept giving me “free” samples of outrageously expensive meds, that I did not need. Saw a different doctor, I’m now on the right medication, and feeling great. I’m glad I had the ability to advocate for myself and walked away before she caused any harm. Please for your safety avoid her.

The positive reviews on here are either her, or they are happy because as long as they pay and listen to HER problems she gives them the good meds. I went for anxiety and honest to God she knows nothing of me because she was unloading all her personal problems to ME. She has ADHD she lost custody of her child. I seriously know this woman's entire life. Don't you dare disagree with her or question her though. She "forgot" my appt on more than one occasion. Got angry when I told her I wanted a refund on my copay since I had to go back to work. I told her due to her lack of professionalism, atrocious fees to talk to a pharmacist, and taking my money to be her personal therapist I would not return. She ignored months of attempts for my records. I can tell you it's because she knew they were made up. I feel guilty that I didn't turn her in. People who are not mentally capable of standing up for themselves are in this nut jobs care. I have to in good conscious do something.

Dr. Cain has gone the extra mile for me as a patient. She often fights with the insurance companies to help me get my medications covered. She works with me to manage my medication within my budget. Dr. Cain is very professional and very thoro. She orders my labs every 6 months (which is more than even my primary doctor does). Furthermore, she reviews my results with me in person. She is compassionate and understanding. I recommend her as a doctor.

Not impressed with any psychiatrist and this one is no different. The field is a sham. I was essentially forced to undergo visit for medical not psychiatric reasons because I had a known side effect that was a reaction to a medicine, but not a "psychiatric" medicine. Insurance routes people to these docs because doctors that practice real and legitimate medicine instead of psychiatric voodoo do not want to get sued, so they marginalize their patients, claiming the patient is mentally unstable to undermine a patients case of medical malpractice against the doctor and insurer, who creates incentives and directs policies.
