Dr. Rosemary Lynn Hallett, MD

Dr. Hallett should not analyze, test, diagnose, or treat patients for conditions with which she isn’t sufficiently knowledgeable. She was very dismissive, did not take an adequate patient history, gave wrong medical advice, and rudely left the room when it became apparent that her visiting fellow was more knowledgeable about the rare disorder than she professed to be. Even worse, she not only disparaged a Harvard Medical School educated physician who specializes in the rare disorder, she also spoke negatively about the patients suffering from the disorder. It is physicians like Dr. Hallett who cause patients with the rare disorder to go undiagnosed for decades, until they become functionally disabled.

Dr Hallett is a very knowledgeable and professional physician. She collaborated with another one of my doctors to come up with a treatment for my very difficult condition that did not respond to other treatments. My quality of life has improved immensely. I will always be grateful for her perseverance and kindness.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hallett for over 6 months. I regard her as an excellent clinician. She has always listened to my comments and responded to my questions. I find her to be a true professional and feel fortunate that Dr. Sam Louie referred me to her. I have been seen by a number of Drs. in my 78 years, and feel she is definitely worthy of a 5-star rating.

Years ago I went for my child, showed her eczema on cheeks and she could not see it, said it was not there. 10 years later, it is chronic with bumps, looks like acne, now she sees it. Teen has frequent anaphylactic reactions so Dr don't think they are real. Seriously. Not helpful.

Thinks she is above allowing patients to SPEAK. Constantly INTERRUPTS, ARGUES. Does not know medical conditions. Refuses to show respect, Dignity. Spent 10 minutes out of 40 minute appointment time, walked out refusing to answer questions. Was embarrassed in front of her medical student she did not know anything.

Went in for a consultation for food allergies for my son. She had him do a breathing test and an allergy scratch test. Nothing to do with why went there. Sent us home with inhaler and said to give him Flonase, stuff we have and is under control. Still concerned with his food sensitivity and have a $400 bill I'm liable for. I would never recommend her. Gave her one star only because there isn't an option for no stars.

Dr Hallett is a personal delight and an excellent diagnostician.

Had no answers except pharmaceuticals. Unwilling to explore roots of problems.

Dr Hallett gives through explanations of how to manage my conditions, and listen to & responds to my questions and concerns. A great doc!

I would not recommend Dr Hallett to anyone. Her recommended course of treatment was, in my opinion, completely wrong and I was amazed at her lack of follow-up
