Dr. Rosemary Obiamaka Oraedu, MD

Dr Oraedu is wonderful - but the office has other issues that are a serious problem. 1) They use your Medicare Wellness Credit intended to be used by the PCP. I didn't know what a "Wellness Visit" was so I agreed to have them bill it as such without knowing it is an official term. They actually call it "Wellness WOMAN Visit" - but, it is simply the Wellness Visit allowed annually for your PCP to complete. This credit being used by a GYN denies many perks provided by a PCP - you only get one of these a year, and it is wasted for the GYN to use it, and according to Medicare, it is not the correct billing. 2) The wait times are at least 1.5hrs for your scheduled appt. The office staff is not friendly and appear to be overworked and too busy for customer relations. I continued to see Dr Oraedu because I liked her, but am changing because it is such an unpleasant experience to wait, be treated like a number, and then have them incorrectly bill the visit. As for the incorrect billing,… after 4 calls to the doctors office speaking with Candy in billing, and 5 calls to Medicare - I hope this issue is finally corrected and Candy concedes, she is wrong, has been wrong and should shut the sarcasm down and do her job and get up to speed on correctly billing services, since that is her job.

Early appointments you wait ..late appointments you wait. No rhyme or reason. She asks the same stupid questions about where you work, etc. every visit. No value put on patient's time. Seeking new GYN after many years..sick of it!

I waited an hour in the lobby, then the nurse came out and said it would be at least another 20 minutes before I could even be called back. I waited a really long time last tome too and when the Dr. came in she apologized, but still. I’ll find another doctor.

Dr. R. Oraedu shows respect, care and concern about your health. She spends adequate time with you and answers all questions. The staff is also very pleasant.

Absolute wonderful Doctor! She is very compassionate and her staff is very sweet! Love this office and highly recommend!

Too long a wait time, not a warm caring doctor

She was running late my first visit, but spent so much time with me it more than made up for whatever was keeping her.
