Dr. Roxann Maria Sangiacomo, MD

I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Sangiacomo at an incredibly difficult period in my life. She cared for me for 9 years and got me closer to my old self than I ever imagined would be possible. I have not found another Doctor I trust or feel as comfortable with. MISS HER!

DR. Sangiacomo was not only my doctor, but she was also a good friend. I went to her for 25 years. Not all my issue knowledgeable with medications, she is extremely intelligent when it comes to psychiatric help. yes, you do have to wait but it is well worth it. She is warm, loving, caring, and I love everything about her. She is real. Not fake at all. That's what makes her stand out among the rest. If you need someone who is the best it would be her. She has recently retired and I am going to miss her greatly. She is irreplaceable. Roxanne, if you are reading this, you deserve to have a long and happy retirement. I hope you get a hole-in-one one of these days. Now I ask you, what are you gonna do with all your clocks? All kidding aside, The office staff is excellent, friendly and will answer your questions and calls immediately. They relayed your message to the doctor in a prompt manner. They call you back the same day. Unlike doctor so you have to communicate through voice messages.… The staff was with her very long time. Which also tells you that she cares about her staff. She knows her medications and does lectures around the country. I highly recommend her obviously.

Excellent office staff. The doctor is very warm and engaging. She always gives me her undivided attention and takes extra time with me if needed. Sometimes she runs late but I know it's because someone else needed a little extra time. She is an excellent diagnostician and has excellent knowledge of symptoms and medications. I have never felt better and have stayed better under her care. The therapist I see in her office is very knowledgeable and has helped a great deal and I know trust they discuss my case in order to coordinate care. Best experience in a doctors office yet. 5 stars all the way around.

Dr. Sangiacomo is more interested in hearing herself talk then listening to her patients. Not just once, but everytime I had to see her, I waited for 30+ minutes. I find this wildly unprofessional considering if a patient was late to an appointment their appointment would be canceled. Although, her staff of therapist are wonderful and helpful, she lacks professionalism and compassion. These are two characteristics that don't bode well when dealing with patients with mental diseases.

She is wonderful! I really felt comfortable sharing such personal information with her and felt as though she really cared and truly understood my condition and my feelings. Moved to Miami and have yet to find a Doctor that compares.
