I highly recommend her especially for those who need to be heard. She has so much patience. Her method with examples of real life situations help with understanding how we can accept issues that we face. Every session I have had ends up in a lesson to be applied and help oneself control the issue. I am aware that everyone has different needs and learns differently but she is a good listener. Perhaps if she suggested different techniques to overcome moments of anxiety or Great Depression it would greatly help. Also, we have to keep in mind that we need to help ourselves before someone else can help us. She is easy to talk to and instills confidence. I always look forward to my sessions. I am thankful she was placed in my path and ask that you give her a chance to help you with your struggles with an open mind.

I have been struggling with anxiety and depression after a work injury that left me temporarily disabled and at the risk of losing my job. I’ve been seeing Dr. Khoshbakht for about three months now, and I’ve already noticed big improvements. She is very kind and really good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. When she helps me understand my feelings, it changes how I see my own issues for the better. She has helped me see the realities of my life and instead of fighting them accepting them and trying to make the best of my situation by finding ways to cope with my struggles and make the right decisions. She carefully monitors my medications and adjusts them based on how I’m doing, which has helped a lot alongside therapy. After each session, I leave feeling calmer and more hopeful. I’m very grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a caring and knowledgeable psychiatrist.

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Khoshbakht (or as I call her, Dr. Roya) and have been under her care for seven months now. She really is a wonderful blessing in my life. In addition to her compassion in helping patients, what I like the most about Dr. Roya is how she can take complicated ideas about the mind and feelings and explain them in a simple and easy way to understand. Sometimes when she explains my own feelings back to me it is like she is shining a light on my own issues, and I feel like I see them very differently and in a good way. She has also been very attentive to my psych medication. She always checks with me to see how the medications have affected me and adjust and change them as needed, and as the results I have made great improvements, which along with psychotherapy have been a great help better than I expected. After every therapy session, I feel much calmer and more hopeful than when I came in. Her help and support have been very important during my healing… process, and I am very thankful for the positive difference she has made in my life. As I have also mentioned to her in person, her knowledge, kindness, and care have truly changed my life for the better. I would recommend her in a heart bit to anyone who is looking for help from a great psychiatrist and psychologist and a wonderful person.

Dr Roya is one of the most amazing people I have ever encountered. She has helped me so much I can't even describe how grateful I am.
