Dr. Rozana A Itskovich, MD

There is a woman by the name of Zarina who is extremely rude. I asked her to slow down a bit so I can make sure I didn't miss anything and her response was "you're talking fast too." If I was talking fast I have no problem slowing down if asked to. I said she was being rude and she responded "I don't even know you." Not many offices know people who are calling in but that gives you no reason to be rude. Sad that I had to experience this.

Dr Itskovich is one of the most caring Drs I have ever seen she actually pays attention to every appointment and all that goes with it I am going through unlike most of the drs I have ever used.

She is a very nice person and listens to you.

Dr. Itskovich has been my physician for several years. She came highly recommended by another physician for my Mother's care and I credit her with saving my Mother's life on at least one occasion when another hospital refused to provide her appropriate treatment and literally sent her home to die. Because of Dr. Itskovich's intervention, she enjoyed nearly 6 more years of a comfortable life and she help me to ease her transition when my Mother passed a couple of years ago at the age of 88 yrs, by even helping to deal with Family issues over differences between hospice care and radical chemo/surgery. I have recommended her for an elderly friend who was like an Aunt to me who was encountering health issues for several years without an accurate diagnosis. After Dr. Itskovich became her physician, I saw a noticeable increase in her health and she accurately diagnosed the issues causing her dizziness and other symptoms when others did not. Of course most doctors who have been in the… business as long as she has with a thriving practice are competent. So, I will not address that area, I consider it to be a matter of fact. What I have found is most unique about her is her caring and appropriate care. She takes time to have a real conversation with you and listens to what you have to say. She has often given us samples of really expensive medications to help out. When my Mother was in the hospital she always stopped to not only check her records but to speak with her personally......even though my Mother had some demensia issues she spoke directly to her to make sure that she understood. She soon became my doctor after I saw the care that she gave my Mother and she is my husbands doctor too. I use her for my OB/GYN issues, as well. We fall within the 56-66 year old range and also since I was care-provider for my Mother for 10 years, I am more sensitive to how the elderly are treated. So, although I feel she would be a great physician for clients at any age, I give her the highest marks for being a sensitive and caring physician for those who may have more ailments and might not be as apt to verbalize their concerns as others. My Mother, as especially came from an era where one did not question their doctor......and in that vein I would feel absolutely comfortable to have had her have an office visit with Dr. Itskovich and know that she was given the treatment most appropriate for her. Frankly, I don't know how she does all that she does. She does not have a large staff, but they are skilled, efficient, friendly, and warm. I wanted to give her 4 starts for promptness, but only gave three as one must appreciate that the really good doctors are going to have a lot of clients. However, I have never had to wait an overly long period as somehow she manages to squeeze in a lot of therapy, discussion, and diagnosis within a short period of time.
